Our 2023 wrapped is looking a little different this year and that’s because we are so very proud of one big statistic: 3 rescue dogs adopted into their forever families (pictured below).

We believe that every dog is someone’s Dream Dog and these three pups from our rescue partners over at were in search of their forever homes for a few years before they came to Nova Scotia through Dream Dog to help them find a home.

Our team worked very hard to find these pups their perfect families, many of our staff volunteering to help in their spare time. Thank you to all those who shared and cared about these 3 Dream Dogs! We are very excited that all three have found their forever homes & we can’t wait to continue helping both local and international rescues in 2024!

Holiday weekends as a business owner mean catching up on admin that’s been pushed aside, and finishing projects that are long overdue and desperately needed! All the while trying to find the time to care for yourself, too. Having volunteered with the @novascotiaspca as an adoption counsellor in university, and with other foster based rescues in various capacities, I always knew that I wanted to spend my life saving dogs. In 2019, I watched “Life in the Doghouse” on Netflix. It’s a documentary about the challenges shelters face with regards to overpopulation of dogs, and lax spay/neuter practices. The documentary lit a fire under me. As @glennondoyle wisely stated, “Heartbreak delivers your purpose”. We have a very exciting partnership to announce in the coming weeks, but for now you can help us in our mission to rescue pups by signing up for our first fundraiser supporting the cause. @kellielynnphotography_ and I have done this fundraiser for the past 3 years and we book up solid every single time! & aren’t these photos so cute?!
