*18 years dog handling experience from working for dog trainers, groomers, daycare/kennels to now running my own business for 7 years. About Us
At Carley’s Dog Care, we’re dedicated to providing dogs with a calm, welcoming, and personal experience—a true alternative to the often overwhelming environment of large daycares. I started this daycare because I saw how chao
tic and stressful big facilities can be for some dogs, and I wanted to offer something different: a small, close-knit group where every dog feels safe, valued, and truly at home. With a limited number of dogs each day, we make sure that every dog has meaningful, positive interactions with friends they know and trust. Some of our dogs have been coming here for over five years, forming deep bonds and lasting friendships in a stable, steady, consistent group. Puppies need plenty of rest and gentle guidance, so our quiet, low-key setting allows them to relax without constant stimulation. This helps them learn social skills in a way that’s positive and supportive. Whether your dog is with us for daycare while you work or for boarding while you’re away, they’re treated like family. For boarding, your dog lives in my home just as they would in yours. They follow your house rules, have free run of the house, and never have to stay in a cage or noisy kennel. At night, they even sleep on a king-size bed with me, ensuring they feel completely at ease. (unless other sleeping arrangements/crate training is requested)
My background in dog body language and behaviour allows me to tailor our care to meet each dog’s unique needs. By focusing on a small, well-bonded group, I can closely observe and understand each dog, quickly spotting any signs of stress and ensuring they feel calm and confident. Here, your dog isn’t just a number; they’re part of a family—a community where they’re known, loved, and treated like my own. At Carley’s Dog Care, your dog can enjoy a healthy, stress-free environment that’s built just for them. It’s their second home—a place to play, relax, and reconnect with familiar faces in a safe and supportive space.
