Hello peeps! First off, I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter.
So I haven't updated my progress because I had a set back..😩. Sling off, feeling good, about to start strength training when I went to grab "empty" enviro bags after grocery shopping. There was one underneath that had a 2kg bag of sugar and some cans of dog food in it. So...needless to say, by the next day I could only lift my arm a few inches as earlier on I could put it almost parallel. Shoulder hurt etc. I got into my Doctor's office about 4 days after the mishap. It was getting better, but he was concerned I did something to the metal anchor in my shoulder. If I had, I would have to have surgery again and start all over again!
Luckily my wonderful physiotherapist put me through some tests and determined I strained myself, but not to the point where he wanted an ultrasound to see how bad I hurt myself.
So I was ahead of schedule before my mishap, now I'm right where I should be and started strength training 1week later than I would've.
So back on the mend, and getting stronger every day! ❤️
