Those who successfully complete the CCS program to a high standard and with a commitment to live up to IPDTA Standards may request certification and membership with IPDTA - International Positive Dog Training Association at no additional charge. With this certification/membership you earn the privilege of using the designation IPDTA-CDT (IPDTA Certified Dog Trainer) after your name. Example: Mary Smith, CTB.ccs, IPDTA-CDT
Written Exam
Each module contains a theoretical examination including multiple choice and true/false questions. You’ll be required to earn a score of 90% or greater to successfully complete the course. Because we want you to succeed, if you do not earn a passing grade you will have the opportunity to re-write the exam as often as necessary until you pass at no additional charge. Practical Testing
We want to see your practical skills as well - this really sets Canine Correspondence Studies graduates apart. You’ll be required to perform practical exercises that involve teaching and training a dog! Practical testing is conveniently submitted in a video format via email or dvd and really brings the course to life!
Length of Study
Because everyone has different demands on their time we wish to set you up for success. You choose your own start date and set your own pace. This course will help you become a certified professional dog trainer, however it takes practice, good timing and instincts to make you a good one.
Support
When you purchase the Canine Correspondence Studies professional dog trainer certification correspondence course you’ll receive ongoing support from Norma Jeanne throughout the course and after graduation.
