Our good friend and antipoaching ranger Anthony working in Africa currently on his snake handling course.

Supplies and funding is very limited to the units and even the locals in the villages don't have much to survive on. Anthony is currently working on getting donations to purchase beds for children in the surrounding villages, these children don't have much and majority of them had mumps. The poachers are keeping them very busy and members even from terrorist groups such as ISIS can be found amongst the poachers.

Give Anthony a follow to see updates on his current mission in Africa and to reach out if you can help with any donations.

Congratulations Nate and the GSD gang on successfully completing The Level One Handler and Obedience Program at Ballistick9Canada!

Nate finished his course with us with his 2 dogs while they also introduced a new baby in the house, great to see responsible owners train their dogs with children.

Don't let the size fool you, this little guy tried to bite our trainers on his first class but then became one incredible dog who loved to work for his family.

Great group class this morning with amazing people and dogs. Every class I try to push each dog and handler a little extra to build their confidence.

Everyone worked very hard today and it was great watching you guys problem solve with your dogs and get the job done.

Tank a Rottweiler/German Shepherd became aggressive shortly after being neutered at a young age and had bite people. Jo had a choice to rehabilitate this dog or put him down, we all worked very hard especially Jo to fix Tank and give this guy a new chance at life.

It was not an easy job and it'll be life long commitment to training and structure to keep Tank a safe dog now.

Thank you Jo for all your hard work and trust in us!

We've started "Handler of the Month" shout outs at Ballistick9Canada where we feature a handler and their dog once per month!

Gerald arrived to me with a nervous young Cane Corso who he taught he could not keep anymore and was worried about having him. He entered Level 1 training and we could see Gerald's dedication to learning very fast and more important dedication to his dog. Successfully passing level 1 he entered level 2 and also continued to show extreme passion for dog work and successfully passed level 2 as well.

Tucker is now doing bite work, a dog that that originally was not so confident even doing bite work we see now is beginning to understand and enjoy it with intensity. Tucker can be taken anywhere off leash and Gerald always sends us great training videos which are great to see.

Due to Gerald's persistent work, passion and trusting the process he's achieved amazing work with Tucker and continues to grow and improve. Good work Gerald and Tucker, you have both grown into an amazing team and example and values we represent at Ballistick9Canada!
