⚠️Please Read!⚠️
I am now officially away from the kennel from now until January 2026. I am very sorry for the inconvenience this causes everyone and I look forward to seeing everyone in the new year. I will not be responding to messages or calls while I'm away. I will be making changes in how I work for when I'm back in order to keep being able to do what i love because i can no longer keep up with the pace i was working at. Some changes you can expect are.

1. I will only be working Thursdays, Fridays and , Saturdays

2. The options for drop off times will be 9:00am,10:00am, 12:00pm or 1:00pm

3. I will be requesting dogs to be on a 4 week, 6 week , or 8 week schedule. I will not groom the dogs that get done once a year.

4. and pricing, I am going to be changing my pricing to a base price of $100 a dog. This is because I would like to change my focus to bigger dogs Breeds like Golden Retrievers, Border collies, Long Hair shepherd X's, thoses breeds are the more common ones but breeds like thoses are what i would like to focus on.(The double coated longer haired dogs that need Bath and Tidys) And also Poodles so Standard Poodles or Toy Poodle haircuts.
A rough looking price list looks like this.

Your average size golden Retriever looking type dog. About $100

A little bit bigger dog then a Golden Retriever or Border Collie or with a thicker coat type $120

A dog like mine (Winnie) is a Lab/Newfie X (the dog in the picture in the previous post) she alot more hair and alot thicker hair than you average dog and they will be about $150-$200

Things like a pure bred newfie that are massive will be $200+

Toy Poodle or small dog haircut $100

And standard Poodle or large dog haircut $140.

Nail trims $15

This is all I have for right now and because every dog is different and they all have different genetics I'm sure pricing will change on a dog to dog basis. Thank you for taking the time to read this, I will miss everyone and i will see you in the new year. ❤️

Taking a break! Hey everyone it has been a while since I have posted on facebook but i am still here at Klassic Kennels working away. The month of September marks 15 years of me being in the Grooming industry and its time for me to take an extended break. It is a very difficult decision to walk away from the dogs I groom on a regular basis and I appreciate all my great clients that have brought me their dogs consistently over the years, i will miss you all! I do plan on returning to grooming in the new year but I will be structuring my work days differently and there will be alot of changes in general but nothing is set in stone yet. I will be finishing the few appointments I have booked in for September and then and I will not being booking anymore dogs until 2026. Thank you for the support and I will be back in the New Year.

I am fully booked up for the year and currently booking for the week of January 6th. once I make it through the Christmas season I will be posting some updates that will be happening in the new year! Please please please remember to deworm and and give your dog flea and tick medication from the vet!

Furfetti family.
It's unfortunate it has come to this but I need to make this public. In the picture below is a picture of an individual lice, note that it is on a finger tip and the size of the lice compared to the finger print, they are TINY!
In the last 26 hours, we have sent 5 dogs home, all with lice, 4 of these were all full size doodles, all 4 visited the same place within the last month, 2 other very recent cases from the dog park. We used to go months without seeing a case of lice, now we arent going a week or even a day without seeing an infestation. This comes as a detrimental financial impact because we are a 100% commission driven industry, if we have to send a dog home because of lice or fleas, that income is never replaced. The last 26 hours have been a $600 loss.
If you are utilizing services such as dog daycare, boarding facilities or the dog park I BEG YOU to please PLEASE use preventative treatment given ONLY by your veterinarian. Simparica Trio is a MONTHLY treatment, meaning it needs to be given monthly. Any area where dogs are in a common area whether it a grooming salon, a veterinary clinic, the dog park or a DOG DAYCARE you will always have a risk of coming into contact with these kinds of things and it's is solely your choice to use preventative treatment.
GOING FORWARD, if you choose not to use preventative treatment and your dog comes into our facility with any visible parasites, you will be charged the entirety of the service you were supposed to receive in addition to a sanitizing fee.
Your dog will not be permitted back into our space for 14 to 28 days depending on the severity of the infestation and we will require proof of purchase of preventative medicine from your veterinarian at your next visit.
We will be asking EVERYONE if they have visited a daycare or boarding facility since their last grooming apt and if you have, we will also be asking for proof of CURRENT preventative treatment which daycares also need to enforcing 100% of the time.
Unfortunately we are not the only ones impacted by this epidemic, our friends at Unleashed along with others in our community are noticing a large increase in dogs with active parasite infestations.

Those of you concerned about your dogs health and wellness we are open, honest and happy to have a conversation during business hours.

**KENNEL COUGH** If your dog is coughing or weezing (showing any symptoms of kennel cough) they will not be permitted in our building for 14 to 21 days AFTER their last known symptoms. We cannot enforce honestly, however, knowingly bringing your dog into a space where other dogs are could be detrimental to any immune suppressed or senior dogs. Kennel cough and other viruses like kennel cough are AIRBORNE and can be passed through literal breath. Please be kind and considerate.
