Our hearts 💔 are heavy with sorrow once again….we hope this is the last sad post for a while!
Holly was our faithful girl for over 15 years! Labs don’t typically live as long as she did - so we were lucky to have her with us for so many years! Up until her last few days she still loved her food and ball! Holly was our first “fur-baby” together, and part of the inspiration behind starting up Paw Springs! She was a great Playtime Ambassador and Ball Wrangler! Through the years she befriended hundreds and hundreds of dogs and humans alike. She played every day with new friends and some old. She was notorious for gobbling her food as fast as possible, running for a ball with wild abandon and would take a heart attack if we didn’t make her stop for a break. She LOVED the water 💦 - in a pool, the river, from the hose or sometimes would take a dip in our garden pond (yuck)!
The few times we were able to go camping she would chase balls in the creek until her feet were stinging! Although she would persevere through the pain and do it all over again!
She showed the ropes to her brother/best friend “Chico” and together they worked with us every day to help care for all our guests and made sure they were having fun!
Holly was retired from the kennel for the last few years but would occasionally hang out with some of her old pals in the senior yard to bathe in the sunshine ☀️.
It will take some time to adjust to the empty space she once occupied, the puddles of water missing from around the water bowl and the hot breath on our knee at mealtime waiting for us to share a little bite. She had such an expressive face and soulful golden eyes….we will miss you every day Holly Wolly. 🌈💕

We will forever miss our dear old friend HENRY 💔🌈🦮 he was a Paws “OG” from the beginning of our business. Henry was “one of ours” we just shared custody with his family. Always bright and cheerful - loved his daycare days …until the very end. Love 💕 and hugs to the Nolan family - we share in your sorrow for his loss. Til we meet again - faithful friend.

"LUCY" So hard to say goodbye to our dear friend - RIP sweet girl 😪💔💔🦋🌈 We lost a very dear friend the other day. “LUCY P” was a permanent fixture here at Paw Springs – from our very beginning in 2009. She was a favorite among our family, our staff and even our customers remember the bouncy boxer. She was outgoing and confident, and LOVED to go to daycare! She was so patient with us when we would dress her up at Halloween and Christmas, and always gave a kind greeting with a snort and a wiggly bum, or give us a laugh at her repertoire of facial expressions. She was a character, and we are deeply saddened that we lost a special friend. Our hearts and thoughts are with her family - Wendy, Larry, Lorraine & Kelly and her fur siblings Buddy & Asha We are sending big-big hugs to Lorraine and Kelly, we know how so very special Lucy was to them. Thank you to Wendy & Larry for entrusting Miss Lucy to our care all these years. We have played a significant role in Lucy’s life, and she, in ours. We grow to love our doggie guests and we too mourning the loss. Many have passed this year including Tia, Sheba, Harley P, Chiki, just to name a few recently. We realized this year that many of our guests who were with us from 2009 are reaching the end of their life spans, and we have lost so many this year. It’s a stark reminder how short their time is with us, and how much impact they have on our lives. Please feel free to post a photo or memory of your beloved animal that you’ve lost – even if they weren’t a Paw Springs Alumni – this is a place to share your loss.
