The time has come to find these pups their furever homes!

We will be selling 3 pups (2 males & 1 female) who will be ready to go at 8 weeks on January 24th 2022 or can be held up to 10 weeks (February 7 2022) with a deposit. They will be dewormed and have their first vaccinations included

Happy Holidays🎄❄ and happy 4 weeks (yesterday) to the pups!

Nova and the pups are happy to be back home after lots of holiday celebrations and snuggles!

Pups now range from 6.5lbs-7.5lbs and we are working on weaning them off mommas milk to some mashed up puppy food and they are LOVING it.

The next few days are back to the normal sleep sleep eat sleep schedule that we love, but with some extra climbing, attitude and noises that all puppy owners love 😅😋

Unlike her momma Nova LOVES to be early! Yesterday Nova welcomed 5 hungry, happy and healthy little balls of floof into our Husky family and we couldn't be more excited to help her on this journey!

We have 2 beautiful little girls and 3 very handsome boys in the mix and are getting used to their eat, sleep, eat, eat, sleep schedule - with a little help from Nova of course.

On the other paw, Nova is like her mother in some ways and always tries to keep it interesting! Long story short we got the best of both worlds, whelping at home with a little assistance from our friends at Southeast Animal Hospital and their AMAZING and all around helpful and caring staff. We could not say better things about them and are SOO thankful we found such a caring facility to bring the Husky Clan to.

Safe to say we experienced it all yesterday and if I had any advice to pass along, it's to do your research and never be afraid to call your vet!! We learnt so many things online - like what to look out for so Nova didn't go into labour on our bed 🤦‍♀️ and what to keep in mind for after the pups were born.

This girl is all hunkered down and ready to become a mama! 🐺 That's right my baby is going to have little babies (puppies)!!

Nova has been such a good mama over the last two months and we've learned lots of new things about having a mama dog in the house!

These next few days days will be very nerve racking and exciting as we get some last minutes things done in preparation for her pups! She's definitely taking in all the sleep while she still can though.

What a journey this past year has been!

We have had so many wonderful experiences and even more learning moments and memories💞 🐺

Starting a business is never something I thought I would do, but seeing the amazing local community, support and awesome markets and fellow vendors (many of who became good friends) made it such an amazing experience.

Market days were my FAVOURITE days (Sky and Nova really preferred taste testing days); talking to everyone about their pups, what they like and don't like, how they act, what their favourite treats are *we even converted some veggie haters into sweet chew and banana chip lovers*
It's safe to say SO many pup parents care endlessly about their dogs and what goes into their everyday adventures.

That being said I've chosen to step back from the treat making business for the time being to focus on some other very exciting things happening for our family which always includes my girls.

A big thank you to everyone who has supported us this far!❤💞

Safe to say it's been a very busy (&sleepy) few weeks according to Nova😴

From our successful (but 🥵) +35C double market weekend at & in July, a surprise visit home early from our man of the house 👫 and mom beginning a new work adventure, this has been a couple weeks of crazy!

We will be taking August off of our market frenzy to focus on celebrating family and some new ideas for the fall 🍁

Don't worry though, we are back in September at the markets and still taking orders for all your pups treatos 🐶

Trying out some new things this week 🍌

☝️ ingredient treats can be a staple in any pup friendly household.

Bananas are a simple and healthy fruit that are high in potassium, vitamins B & C, fiber, and magnesium.
Fiber is a great source to help with gastrointestinal or tummy troubles and magnesium helps to promote health bone growth, and to absorb protein more easily - two things that are super important as your pup grows into a senior pup!
Although bananas do contain natural sugars, so like any treat they should be given in moderation.

Dehydration can help to reduce some of those sugars and moisture to make these treats last even longer in your cupboard or fridge.

We have officially been invited to be vendors at two local country markets for this upcoming spring & summer ☀️

Dawson Trail Museum Spring market will be our first EVER market and we are so excited while starting to get everything together in time for May 1 2021

I've personally shopped at the St Adolphe Market a number of times and love the local products and small town feel of it all. Dates I will be attending are by the arrows but all markets are also listed 🥰

Natural Treat Care

Like any other food we have in our homes, we need to take special care of goods and treats with no preservatives or artificial flavours.

100% Natural Treats are treated just like the human food they are made of! They need to be stored properly and examined when and before feeding them to your pup.

The minimum fresh dates are as list above:
- Keep in a dry cool place for up to 14 days (kitchen pantry in provided bag or air tight container)
- Keep in the fridge for up to 21 days (in bag or airtight container)
- Keep in the freezer for up to 3 months (in an airtight container or vac packed bag)

These dates are the MINIMUM standard for all our treats. Just because these dates pass does not mean you NEED to throw out the treats, but just that after these dates you need to take a little extra time before feeding them to your pup to look for impurities or evidence of the treats going bad.

Remember, all these treats are made with the same foods you and i eat everyday. Keeping in mind all these treats are cooked!

So if you wouldn't eat a 4 week old sweet potato with white spots on it, would you feed it to your best fur friend?

Our two girls in the profile picture are the inspirations behind Husky Clan Co. They are our two pure-bred huskies named Sky & Nova. These girls have a ton of energy that they need to release every single day along with a healthy appetite. Safe to say these girls go CRAZY for home made treats, and love getting them for stimulating games or for just being too adorable.
