North Hill Animal Hospital North Hill Animal Hospital has been helping pets in the Bolton and surrounding area since 1986. Approximately 12-15% of veterinary hospitals throughout the U.S.

The hospital, at that time, treated all types of animals from cats to cows and dogs to horses. In 1989 the practice shifted its attention to only dogs and cats with the occasional rabbit, mouse and gerbil. During the past 25 years, we have grown considerably and have had the distinct honour to help care for thousands of pets and their families. North Hill Animal Hospital has been accredited by the

American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) since 2000. As an AAHA-accredited hospital, we are recognized among the finest in the industry and are consistently at the forefront of advanced veterinary medicine. and Canada are accredited by AAHA so you can rest assured that your four-legged family member is in good hands. North Hill Animal Hospital is also a Cat Friendly Practice accredited at the Silver level. Our staff handle and treat cats with understanding, gentleness and respect, and make every effort to ensure your visit is as stress-free for you and your cat as possible. You and your feline family member will enjoy our separate cat entrance as well as our cat-only exam room that includes a cat pheromone diffuser to help cats feel comfortable and safe.

We are excited to announce the start of a new program at North Hill Animal Hospital! Introducing the Puppy Start Right Program 🐶 We believe in making visits to the vet clinic a positive experience for your puppy! Our happy visits are not just about medical check-ups; they're about creating a welcoming environment where your puppy feels comfortable and safe. Through gentle handling and positive reinforcement techniques, we aim to build confidence and familiarize your puppy to the sights, sounds, and smells of the clinic, setting the stage for a lifetime of stress-free vet visits! Our package will also provide plenty of information and tips on basic training to help your puppy learn essential manners and commands. Our staff will work with you and your puppy, answering any questions you may have about your training goals to build a strong foundation of obedience and communication. Contact us for more information and to start your puppy off right! 💕

Last Saturday we hosted our first canine blood donation clinic with help from our friends at the Canadian Animal Blood Bank! A big thank you to all of the brave pups who came in to donate 🩸 We will be hosting another clinic soon, so contact us if you think your dog would be a good candidate and we will put you on the list 🤗

North Hill Animal Hospital undertook the task of becoming accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). The AAHA standards are much more than a minimum, and by getting AAHA accreditation, we improved the level of practice and service we offer to our clients. Our goal is to ensure each of your pets live a longer, healthier life. Our veterinary team believes one of the best things you can do for your pet to keep them healthy is preventative veterinary medicine such as wellness & vaccination programs. We understand that you want the best possible care for your pet and will do all that we can for your pet’s health to reach an optimal level.
