2017 13.1 1/2hh welsh x pony

“Red, or little red”is a fancy chestnut welsh cross gelding. Born in 2017 and standing 13.1hh 1/2, will finish roughly 13.3hh. This handsome guy is going under saddle with a solid W/TC and simple changes. He has been jumping courses up to 2’3 as well as he has been free jumped up to 3’6 with room to spare. He has a very soft mouth and very quick learner as lead changes and leg yields are coming along. Red loves to jump and is always keen to every new jump with an amazing expression.

Red is very keen to learn and loves to work, that being said he is most suitable for a youth rider who wants a pony to finish in the show ring or to become a lesson pony. He is very bottom of the pecking order and very easy to catch, self loads into trailers.

Vet checks available at buyers expense, up to date on deworming and farrier. Red can be hauled to vet for any vaccines, coggins or ppe. Located 25 mins north west of Bonnyville AB. For any youth or small adult wanting a fancy show pony on a budget red is a definite contender.

Donttellmyhusband (Rosberg- Low Key Affair by Vying Victor)

Donttellmyhusband (dolly) is a very cute bay ottb mare.Started back undersaddle after having time off from the track and is ready to be finished. Has a solid walk-trot- canter, turns and has a good woah, has started leg yielding and has simple changes, has been lightly started over fences. Has been ridden out in pastures moving cows, checking fences and in arenas with no issues can be ridden both in a group or alone with no problems. Is used to both mares and geldings as well as all types of wildlife. Good with clippers,bathing, big trucks, tractors,blanketing nothing seems to phase this athletic mare.

Very laid back mare that is very soft in the mouth, works well to leg aids and voice cues. Would be suitable for a intermediate youth/ amateur wanting to finish their own ottb or trainer looking for side project. Good to catch and loads into trailers anytime. She is very brave gone through water no problems and will jump over anything no trying to stop or rush out just a super mare trying to please. Would make an Excellent eventing horse or all around English horse if a intermediate youth was wanting a horse for pony club.

Loves to work and is a get up and go so is best suited for a intermediate-experienced riders wanting to finish a horse themselves or want a horse that is ready to work and will work 24/7 for them. We have 14 bales left from our 2019 crop. These bales weigh 1600-1950lbs and are more grass type with very little alfalfa, perfect for those easy keepers. Bales have tad bit of weathering from winter but we just fed out 8 today and our horses love them, just don’t need an extra 50.

Penny

Penny is a cute and flashy 13.3hh mare. She is in current work and ready for a new 🏡. Ridden in and out of the arena with a solid walk-trot-canter, has a good woah and backs up. Was a kids pony for grandkids so is very calm with kids. Is used to snow falling off the roof of arenas, self loads into trailers and is used to tractors and machinery. She rides in a halter or hackamore and Goes English, western, and ba****ck.

Loves to walk on trails all day and will stand to be brushed or clipped no problems, In your pocket type loves affection. Is suitable for kids from lead line to advanced kids/teens looking to finish or learn to finish. Is middle of pecking order is very easy to catch and is fine with both mares and geldings.

Snoopy

Snoopy is a big 15.2 flashy gelding. He is back into work after winter break ready for a new 🏡. He’s been ridden in my arena with a solid walk-trot-lope, neck reins and turns very well, has a good woah. Was used as a track pony hauling baby’s around, very calm guy used to guns, snow falling off the arena roof, pony’s, wolfs and any-type of wildlife.

Loves kids will stand all day to be brushed, he does like to have a job so suitable for intermediate riders to experienced riders who want a reliable horse. He is very bottom of the pecking order as my weanlings and mini pony’s will beat him up, easy to catch and loads right into trailers anytime.

Crush (or big crush) is a very flashy, big moving mare with tons of athleticism and heart. Starting back undersaddle from babysitting foals and race horses. Has been started under cross rails with no problems and being very brave. Has an amazing hunter movement with a flowing canter. Is a very calm horse and is very used to snow falling off of the arena roof, horses nickering and pawing with no problems she wants to work and please. Easy to handle, brush, load into trailers, and is bottom of the pecking order.
