***home found ! She went to her new owners Oct 15th!*** With the cold temps last night (-7 here) this little kitten turned up in my heated chicken coop overnight, I saw her this morning as I fed the hens. She was trying to eat their food 😥… so I scooped her up and popped her Into an empty room in the cat hotel. She’s incredibly friendly, purs like a train and has beautiful markings. She’s been fed and is safe and warm now but needs an indoor home - this little one is too sweet to be a working farm cat. She’s free to a good home. I will treat her for any potential parasites but please share and let’s get this little girl a nice home soon!!

It’s been unusually busy in the Cat hotel this month! Bilbo was here almost the whole month, Moose is still here and Patches, Maverick and Oscar came for little stays in between. They’ve all been enjoying the sunny days, spending lots of time outside in the runs attached to each room. Luckily they all come inside for a photo opp when I visit as it means food is being served 😸🍽. Patches was definitely the suckiest kitty this month and just rolled around dramatically demanding pets and head scratches even after I’d filled her food bowl lol.

Anyone looking for a lab?! These are amazing puppies. I have one who is now 16 weeks and she came House trained, is super smart, relatively calm (labs are usually a little crazy 😂) good with my dogs and so loving it’s ridiculous. She slept thru the night in her crate immediately and is good with cats and other animals. 🖤🐾

Once upon a time i used to Parrot Sit 😂🦜 Poppy was super fun but also very naughty and used to scare the heck out of the cats 😜he used to enjoy escaping at meal times and perching way way out of my reach 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ he was afraid of spoons 😂 but used to enjoy singing along to the radio and making doorbell sounds lol. Definitely a cool pet but one I would never ever be brave enough to own myself !!

Some of the 🐾 that have stayed here the past week ! Things I have learned about these dogs: Arlo p**ps where he wants 😂 skittles loves the rain and doesn’t come in when it pours 🤦🏻‍♀️ Devron HATES rain and won’t go out in it😵‍💫 Thor loves throwing huge logs around and chasing them 🤷🏻‍♀️ Corgis have to play with toys that are bigger than them 🙃 Stella hates thunder storms and will insist on finding me - even at 3am and I’m in bed 😳😂 always something new here ! LOL.

Exciting news !! There will be a new groomer starting up AUG 8th in Borden ! Her name is Heather and she’s been grooming in the city but now is starting up in Borden! 🥳🐾. here are her rates. She can do small/ medium dogs ( up to border collie size) right now and will be able to accommodate larger dogs in the future. I’ll be attaching this price list with any new contracts I send out so if you’d like your dog groomed at any time during their stay here just let me know !

It’s been busy the past week looking after these cuties! I think I might have missed taking photos of one or two dogs 🤦🏻‍♀️😵‍💫 but everyone had a good time and hopefully went home tired. Except the cats who are mostly just sun bathing, eating sleeping and bird watching lol.

This pretty little lady is staying here this weekend but also is looking for a new family as someone is allergic to her 😢. Her name is Sassy, she’s a spayed 5 yr old Calico and is up to date with vaccines. She’s a beautiful cat, quite chatty and affectionate but not in your face. She settled into the Cat Hotel immediately so doesn’t seem to have any anxiety about new places or other cats that some guests have. If you know anyone looking for a new to them kitty please pass this on. I believe she’s on Kijiji too and comes with her cat tree and belongings. Located in Langham.

Tank and Sunny have been staying here for years and love being outside enjoying the farm, today Tank really outdid himself and dug himself a comfy hole to lay in 🤦🏻‍♀️😂💙 my goodness it was so funny and he just didn’t want to come in for supper. (He did eventually!) His hole will be there tomorrow, I won’t fill it in until they go home at the weekend lol.

These little guys are ready for their new homes May 4th. Please message if interested ! They were born march 23rd. Momma cat turned up here this winter and lived in my heated chicken coop ( and I thought she was a boy 😂🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️) unfortunately this is a regular occurrence here but we do manage to rehome every cat or kitten that wants to be indoors ! No charge for kittens but monetary donations will pay for Momma to be spayed so she never has to have kittens again. 🐾💓
