Search Brampton Animal Shelter for a Pet

08/05/2020

Welcome. This page was created in an effort to reunite lost pets with their owners. If an animal is brought into our shelter by a member of the public or if one of our Animal Control Officers are dispatched to pick up a found animal in Brampton, we will do our best to post to this page as soon as possible.
Please note that although this page is monitored by staff members of Brampton Animal Services, it is not monitored 24/7. We offer this page as a secondary means of reuniting lost pets with their owners. The staffs primary focus is on the immediate needs of the animals in our care, so there may be a delay in our ability to post them to this page. The preferred and quickest way to ensure a pet returns home is to contact the shelter directly. It is recommended that pet owners file a lost report by calling 3-1-1 or emailing [email protected].

When claiming a lost pet you will need:
• Photo I.D.
• Proof of ownership (vet paperwork, adoption papers, photos, etc.)
• Leash for dogs
• Carrier for cats (cardboard carriers are available but carriers are preferred)
• Current annual license for cats & dogs (if possible, please attach before leaving the building)
• There will be boarding, impound and possibly vet fees associated with claiming the pet. We accept credit, debit or cash payments at time of pick up

Our goal is to provide exceptional customer service for our community by creating a forum for pet owners and Animal Services to better connect. Thank you for your cooperation!
