March is Pet Poison Prevention Month! 🐾
Did you know that everyday items in your home can be toxic to your pets? Be aware of dangers like chocolate, xylitol, grapes, household cleaners, and certain plants like lilies, pothos, and dieffenbachia. Also, don’t forget about human medications, caffeine, onions, and garlic—they can all harm your furry friends.

Keep these items out of reach and ensure your home is a safe space for your pets! 🐶🐱💜

‏This January, Romi Reid came to see us with a sore paw. After some testing, we received the heartbreaking news that he had a form of cancer 💔 After discussing the tough options with his family, they decided to move forward with amputation. Romi’s bravery through it all has been nothing short of inspiring. We’re so proud of Romi and his family for the strength they’ve shown throughout this journey. Thank you for letting us share Romi’s story and for trusting us with his care. ❤️

Signs your pet might need dental care:
• Bad breath
• Excessive drooling
• Difficulty eating
• Inflamed gums

Taking proactive steps like regular at-home care and professional check-ups can help keep these issues at bay. 🪥✨

As the cold weather settles in, it’s important to keep your feline friend comfortable and healthy. Here’s how:

🐱Keep Them Warm Indoors: Cats can’t handle the cold like we can, so make sure they have a cozy spot to curl up and stay warm indoors.

🐱Watch Out for Drafts: Drafty spots can worsen conditions like arthritis. Keep your cat away from chilly corners and cold air currents.

🐱Hydration: Winter dryness can lead to dehydration. Keep fresh water available to help prevent urinary tract and kidney issues!

🐱Indoor Play: Cats are natural hunters, so they need indoor playtime to stay active and prevent boredom. It’s a great way to bond too!

🐱Check Their Paws (if they go outside): Outdoor cats are at risk of salt burns or ice buildup. Be sure to check and clean their paws if they’ve been outside!

💡Have questions about your cat’s health? Call or contact us today! We’re here to help! 💜🏥

Did you know pets can get dehydrated even during the colder months? ⛄️🐾
Here’s why hydration matters and how you can help:

💧 Fresh Water Daily: Always ensure your pet has access to clean, fresh water, even if they’re spending more time indoors.

💧 Avoid Frozen Water: Make sure their water bowl is not icy or frozen, as pets may avoid drinking it in such conditions.

💧 Use a Humidifier: Dry air can contribute to dehydration and dry skin, so a humidifier can help maintain a comfortable environment.

💧 Watch for Dehydration Signs: Keep an eye out for dry gums, lethargy, reduced appetite, or dark-colored urine—these could indicate dehydration.

❄️ Remember❗️ Snow isn’t a substitute for drinking water! It's fun but not hydrating!
