This is to inform everyone that I will be closed and unavailable from July 24th-31st. I am moving at the end of July and will resume business as usual by August 2nd at a new address. Happy Canada Day from my River 🎆🎇
Please keep your pets indoors during the celebrations to keep them safe. A lot of dogs are scared of fireworks (like River) and will try to find a quiet place to hide. Turning on your tv or some music to help muffle the noises can help. Always keep their collar + tags on if there's a chance they can escape.

I am happy to announce that I have teamed up with the fantastic staff at Pet Valu for walk-in nail trims! This Sunday the 23rd, come on in anytime between 10:30am - 1:30pm to get your dogs nails trimmed. Maybe pick them up a treat while you're in store! They deserve it!

Its a hot one out there 🥵 Dogs with restricted airways such as brachycephalic breeds (flat-faced dogs such as bulldogs, pugs, boxers, and frenchies) are at a very high risk for overheating quickly. In these breeds, clinical signs of heat stroke can occur when the outside temperature and humidity are even moderately elevated. Please be vigilant and leave your pets safely inside with air conditioning on during hot days.
