Meet Chelsea. She has been coming to see us this week to have her shoulder treated with laser therapy by our veterinary student, Shahd, after she hurt it playing. Winter is mating season for coyotes. Coyotes are loyal, and mate for life, but single coyotes may roam around the city looking for a partner. 🐾

Here are five tips to keep your pets safe 👇:

• Walk dogs on a short (non-retractable) leash.
• Inspect your yard before letting pets outside, always supervise them, and keep them indoors at night.
• Remove pet f***s from your yard immediately.
• Ensure your property is well-lit at night.
• Do not leave pet food and/or water bowls outdoors.

Tibetan Terriers are so interesting! This ancient breed originated in the Lost Valley of Tibet and has been long associated with Buddhist monasteries. In fact, these dogs were never sold - they were always given as gifts of appreciation. It wasn't until much later in the 1920s that one was gifted to an English doctor, Dr. A.R.H. Grieg, who was practicing in India at the time. She expressed such an interest in the breed that the Dalai Llama then gave her Tibetan Terrier puppies, which she took back to England with her to establish the breed there. 😊💕🐶
