It's just a dog they say. It's just a groom they say. No, it's not just a dog and it wasn't just a groomer or pet professional-client relationship. These babies become as much a part of our lives as they are yours. Outside of your family, we see them more than anyone else does through their lives. We enjoy them as puppies, we mold and train them in some ways as they grow into young adults. We cherish their quirkiness, their sasiness, their goofiness, their sweetness, their intelligence, their mischievousness and live and breathe their lives as ours, day after day. We know when they are feeling low, when they are not themselves, are hurting or unwell. We worry as we would for our own. We hurt knowing your baby may be unwell. We try to find and suggest ways to keep these babies healthy and happy through their lives. We push you to do things to help them or not do something that might cause them any harm or discomfort, unknowingly. We watch them get white in their faces, the loss of hearing or the blue glaze over their eyes and it bleeds our hearts knowing it's the twilight of their lives and pray that it stretches out for as long as possible. We respect and love them in their sunset years; understanding their special needs; trying our best to keep them comfortable despite the age. And one day that sun sets. It pains us, breaks our hearts as losing one of our own - someone we loved and cherished for years, decades. We are the humans they trusted through their lives to look out for them. Most often clients call us with the news and thank us for their services. Sometimes we are just left to wonder what happened. The not knowing doesn't give us a closure 💔
And then many of you who trusted us with your fur babies' care come a full circle and entrust us with their aftercare. We are so honored, deeply humbled and privileged to be able to guide their path across the Rainbow Bridge 🌈 with the love, dignity and respect they deserve ❤️
Shaggy, Prince, Benji, Abbey, Storm, Ginger, Tasha, Gasper, Charlie, Sammy, Zoey, Lily, Gasper, Ponchki, Romeo, Nicholas, Sega ..... you all made our lives whole. You remain a part of Bitu's family and history forever 💕
No, it's not just a dog and no, we aren't just groomers or we don't just swim your dogs. It's a bond, a relationship, a cherished memory; that we will remain with us until our last breath. We are blessed to have been able to serve your little ones. Thank you for sharing them with us and thank you all for being in our lives 🙏🙏❤️
