Semen testing herd/sale bulls is the best way to ensure there is adequate s***m quality for optimal breeding efficiency. Semen testing is best done in the months prior to breeding season so any issues can be identified early and decisions can be made accordingly. Semen samples are carefully analyzed for motility and the presence of defects with individual s***m cells. Bulls with good quality semen have higher breeding success rates.

We will give you a result of pass or fail at the time of testing! Contact the office to book your bulls in for their breeding soundness evaluation!

Colic in horses is not a disease, it is more of a combination of signs that alert to abdominal pain in a horse. Colic can be mild to severe, but should never be ignored, as conditions can become life threatening very quickly.

Any horse is susceptible to colic, so management practices can play a key role in prevention. Not every case is avoidable, but the guidelines listed can maximize your horses health and reduce the risk.

Signs of colic include:
- Laying down and/or rolling
- Restlessness
- Sweating
- Looking at sides
- Biting or kicking flank area
- Not eating
- Dry f***s or no f***s at all

Colic is one of the most common emergencies in horses. When you see the signs that your horse may have colic, call your veterinarian right away.

Equine Dental Floats

Horses teeth continuously grow and they can develop sharp points. This can cause pain and discomfort to the horse, as well as problems with chewing and riding.

Signs your horse may need a float:
- Dropping food
- Excess saliva when eating
- Weight loss
- Discomfort with a riding bit
- Significant amount of undigested hay in the manure

Benefits after procedure:
- Improved comfort when chewing food
- Better digestion
- Enhanced performance while riding
- Improved physical appearance

Call the office to book your horse in for a dental float and spring vaccines and receive a free f***l float on us!
A f***l float identifies parasites that can cause weight loss, damage to internal organs, and lethargy. F***l testing can help determine the type of dewormer to administer based on the type of parasite found.
