Love it when I get updates from one of my puppy parents! This is what Gabi shared with me... "Phoenix is now 10 months old. He is a gentle dog so full of love for everyone. He loves meeting new people and animals. He is very attentive and is eager to please. He is very intelligent and learns new tricks quickly. He knows “leave it” “back” “stay” “come” and more. He lays down beside my kitchen when Im cooking and waits for someone to tell him he can go before going outside when a door is open. He loves to help on the farm and stays calm for rides in any vehicle from tractors to side by sides. He loves to frolic through the fields and going swimming. Thank you Gentrice goldens for all the hard work you put into your puppies to prepare them for their new adventure" Phoenix was the blondest of all 21 puppies from the fall litters! Such an amazing pup. You are doing a fantastic job with him Gabi thank you!

Gentrice Flint! In your short life you've already flown 1/2 way across the country, turned heads, impressed trainers and entertainers and are the best companion to my friend Helen Kincade. Congratulations Helen, you are doing an amazing job with Flint and there's no doubt in my mind that the two of you are the perfect team 🤗 I can't wait to hear about your next adventure!

One of the highlights of last night’s glorious evening at Yip Cider was seeing my beautiful British friend turned New Brunswicker Helen Kincade Dr Helen Rees Atlantic Podiatry and her delightful parents who are visiting from the UK plus meeting her stunningly cute service-dog-in-training Flint. I love that my decade of summer shows on the Kingston Peninsula have a become a reunion of friends and a place for newcomers, old and new, to meet, laugh and celebrate our chosen home of Canada.

Meet Ronin!
Tim contacted me back early winter searching for a breeder he can connect with and for a pup who will first and foremost be his companion. Will have a good drive and pick up field/retrieving work and also have the ability for therapy work.

This is what Tim has said:
"Water introduction and retriever training. At 10 weeks old, Ronin has experienced many things and is very intelligent and resilient. He picks things up quickly and is a very smart, outgoing, pleasant little puppy to raise!

Ronin loves retriever time. He is reliably doing 5-6 reps three times a day. He is sleeping through the night and is very active outside and quite calm in doors.

Thx Cat for time, care and love you put into your breeding program, it shows in the trainability and intelligence of Gentrice Goldens puppies!"

Helen (podiatrist) picked up "Flint" Molly/Ryder yellow male) **this boy will change lives**
Flint has had quite an adventure already!!

"Flint was amazing, the airline staff loved him. The pilot was so excited to fly him!

He stayed in his carrier on both flights and slept but they wanted a picture when the plane landed!

Also flint is doing amazing !!! Already sits, recognizes his name and has had no accidents! He loves work with the clicker ! So thank you for that.

Also the trainer was very impressed with how he was - she said he must have come from an excellent breeder ! Which I would agree very much ! "

Update: "He has been doing so well !!! He is doing so well with training!!! He had his first day at the hospital yesterday and was perfect ! He loves to learn and listens sooo well!"
