Understandably owners want to keep their pets fur longer this time of year, but did you know the longer the fur the more often it should go to the groomers?
You dont need to book in for a full groom, a bath and brush out is the best way to know there's no matting happening in between full grooms. (Other than brushing and combing daily/weekly at home)
We often hear owners don't want to go to short, and they've been growing it out because of the cold weather. But then we can see or feel that the long fur you've been growing out is unfortunately matted. And we need to shave it short to get under the matts.
To keep that from happening, book in more frequently for a bath and brushout! We'd love to help you keep your pets fur long and warm in this weather!

This adorable creature came to me today for the first time, I forgot to take a picture after the bath naturally.
But she's part Himalayan/Scottish fold/munchkin ❤ she had the tiniest legs I've ever seen.

Last day of holidays!
Fixed up the table, releveled the tub, hung some paintings, filled and painted the ugly spot on the wall the AC left behind.
These 2 weeks have been great to relax, revamp and get motivated for the new year!

Hello! I hope everyone had a great holiday season! I unfortunately was sick for most of it, causing a bit of a hold up on our renovations. Yes renos! Keep reading for more on that a bit later, lots of changes coming this year to Furtastic Beasts and Where to Groom Them!
First bit of news; price changes. We will be updating our pricing structure to better reflect the time and resources each groom takes. Please message me before your appointment or ask at drop off for your new approximate price.
Small dog full groom (2hours) -$78.00
Second big change this year I'll be needing proof of vaccinations. Rabies, Distemper and Parvovirus. I'll write them on your file so you won't need to bring them every time.
For my new clients this comes into effect immediately, for my returning clients these changes start March 1st.
And lastly, yes I am moving! I'll just be going down 2 units to 7A instead of 7C. We are currently redoing everything inside and its going very slowly, so no hard date yet but I'll make another post when I do switch.
Thankyou for your patronage, we really appreciate your business and support. I look forward to seeing you in 2024!
