Reminder to everyone: This Wednesday (October 30th), is our annual Inventory Day! Yay! 😶

This is when everything gets counted in the clinic; tedious but necessary.

We would much rather be dealing with our clients and your pets, but we gotta do what we gotta do! 🤓

‼️‼️So reminder, the clinic will be closed and we will not be answering phones, responding to emails, etc.

However, we will be back to normal on Thursday (Oct 31st) and back to our usual routine.

The first video is how we count pills at the beginning of the day, the second video is how we count pills at the end of the day! 😝 LOL!

Our Cat Neuter Day is scheduled for Friday, October 25th! 😸😸

Please call the clinic to book in your cat!

(At the moment we are only booking in existing clients but non-clients can leave their name and number and will be contacted if we are able to.)

Time for Fall Cleaning!?!? 🍂 🍁

This can apply to pet stuff as well as human stuff! 🐶🐱🐹🐰

We are currently looking for donations in support of Heart to Paws by Merck.

Each year Merck collects donations from vet clinics across the country and distributes these gifts to eligible organizations such as health shelters, community outreach programs and SPCA’s.

We are looking for new or gently used pet care items such as:
- sweaters
- booties
- blankets
- pet beds
- leashes
- collars

Drop your donations off before October 31st and help us “share the warmth” this winter and support pets in need across the country!! ❤️

They’re still here?!?

Yesterday we had a lovely bunny come in for a surgery and as we were prepping we noticed he had a few small specs of dirt on him, so naturally we started picking them off!
It wasn’t until the specs of “dirt” started moving that we realized they were actually Deer (black-legged) Ticks!!!

Because of that we thought it’d be a good time to remind everyone that tick season isn’t over yet, ticks are out from April-November and don’t become inactive until the first permanent snowfall or temperatures are consistently below 4*C.

Deer Ticks can transmit Lyme Disease to both you and your pets so please be careful and make sure to check for ticks regularly! Typically, ticks need to be attached for over 24 hours in order to transmit the disease causing agents! This is why checking for ticks is so important! We want you and your furry friends to stay safe and healthy!!

Below is a representation of just how small Deer Ticks can be! They are very tiny so make sure you’re looking closely!

So it’s time to draw the winners names and see who the lucky people are!! 😁

Thank you to everyone who donated money for Cancer Research, all the money has been forwarded to the Cancer Society.
We had great fun putting together the prizes and working on the project!

Cancer is a disease that has touched the lives of all of us. Funding research has been able to prolong lives, save lives, and help people fighting cancer live their best lives! ❤️

All of our winners will be contacted today or tomorrow!

Since you all had to put up with our spam last week for our Cancer Care fundraising we just wanted to take a moment and say THANK YOU everyone who has donated!
