💪6 month old Big boy Bruno was practically busting through the gate to get groomed today. Ready to trample people 😂. Just how I like them! Check out his before and after.
Seriously though…..he wouldn’t stop kissing and nuzzling me during his first groom.

It was a puppy day at The Doodle Den!
They were all fabulous. I mean, not to brag but doodles are amazing 🤩
Smart, quick to learn and the 🥰 cuddles.
Omg the cuddles and the kisses and the horsing around.

Binder had his teeth done last week and the leg with the IV has been bothering him ever since. 😢
Let me tell you the coolest part about being a groomer….
When he gets in the tub and holds his sore paw up until I hold it and acknowledge what has happened. 🥰💕😍
After that, he just carried on like normal.
It’s the connection guys!!! I have so many dogs that I know and love.
And that, is the best part of my job❤️❤️❤️

Doodle puppy grooming 101🎓

Did you know that your doodle puppy should be first groomed at 3 months?
This will ensure that they bond to their groomer and start the training of being groomed. This will be a life long experience and we want it to be a good one! 🥰🐕

Every 4-6 weeks there after your doodle should be booked in on a rotation.
That is how you keep those doodles fluffy, clean and without matting. 🫧🛁🧼
It is best to prebook when leaving each appointment. This will ensure that your spot is available.
There is a groomer shortage!

Let’s talk about ticks! 🤢🤮

Sadie and Molly were in the other day and had to go short.
Because…….ticks.
They live in Burlington /Oakville area and they have been massively having issues with these ticks.
I had to pull 4 off of Sadie.
They are active at -5 weather, so keep your eyes peeled.

Unfortunately, we are going to need to suspend puppy intake until further notice as we need volunteer puppy raisers before we can proceed. It appears the interest is in sitting versus raising but new pups need the stability of a raiser to get them started. Please help ADS recruit raisers! Thank you!

February is the month of love… But for some, love stinks and Valentine’s Day is a bummer.

Especially if you’re going through a “crappy” breakup!

Don’t be bitter! Make yourself feel better by having your ex’s name put on a litter box at Simcoe and District Humane Society!

But while you may not have much respect for your ex, we do have to respect their right to privacy and will only be using first names. Please note, posts will not be deleted if you get back together next week.
