Hey, I’m Bug—orange tabby extraordinaire and your soon-to-be best friend.

Sure, I may be named Bug, but I promise I’m the kind you’ll actually want in your house. I'm playful, charming, and have just the right amount of lovable chaos to keep life interesting. Whether it's chasing toys, leaping after invisible things (trust me, they're there), or showing off my silly side, I’ve got energy to spare and a heart full of love to give.

I’m the type of cat who doesn’t believe in personal space—if you're sitting down, I’m coming in for a snuggle. If you're doing something without me, I’ll probably supervise. If you’re having a bad day, I’m your built-in mood booster.

I thrive on attention, adore playtime, and believe that every moment is an opportunity for joy (or zoomies). If you’re looking for a fun-loving feline who’s equal parts cuddles and comedy, I’m your guy.

So... what do you say? Ready to be bugged—in the best possible way?

Hi there, I’m Nala. You might recognize me—I’ve become a bit of a familiar face around here. I’m that sweet Labrador mix who gave birth to 12 beautiful puppies, and I’ve poured every bit of my heart into being the best mama I could be. People who’ve met me say I have the gentlest soul and the kindest eyes, and honestly, I just love love.

Now that my puppies are growing up and starting their own journeys, it’s time for me to begin mine. For the first time in a long time, I get to think about me—what kind of cozy bed I’ll curl up in at night, whose footsteps I’ll follow on walks, whose hand will scratch behind my ears just right.

I’m still the same nurturing girl, full of affection, quiet strength, and hope. I’m looking for a family who sees me not just as the mom who gave her all—but as the dog who still has so much more to give. Whether it’s watching the world go by from the porch or snuggling close on the couch, I’ll be by your side with all my heart.

If you’re ready to give a second chance to a dog who’s already given so much, I’m right here… waiting for you. 💛

A Special Search: Franklin is seeking a Fospice Home

Meet Franklin, a soft, shy 5-year-old grey cat with the heart of a quiet companion. Franklin came to the Brant County SPCA with some health concerns. She has been diagnosed with mammary cancer, but she is currently comfortable and enjoying the little things: a cozy blanket, a warm sunbeam, and the soothing sound of a calm voice nearby.

Because of her diagnosis, Franklin is looking for a fospice home—a loving foster family where she can continue to live comfortably and peacefully. Fospice (a combination of foster and hospice) is one of the most compassionate gifts a person can give. The Brant County SPCA will provide all medications and veterinary care deemed necessary and the fospice provides love, patience, and a quiet space—everything Franklin needs most.

What does Franklin’s ideal home look like?

Franklin needs is someone who will sit with her, speak gently, and understand that trust takes time. She isn’t the type to ask for the spotlight, but for those who take the time to truly see her, she offers something incredibly special—gentle trust, peaceful presence, and a love that’s calm and steady.

She prefers to takes her time, especially at mealtimes, and prefers to eat when the room is quiet. She once lived in a home with many other cats and may do well with a gentle feline friend, but she’d prefer a home without dogs or small children.
Franklin reminds us how powerful quiet companionship can be. Her soft purrs, slow blinks, and quiet presence are a kind of love that speaks volumes.

If you’re someone who believes in comfort, compassion, and giving a cat like Franklin the safety and peace she deserves, we would love to hear from you.

Oh—hello there. I’m Tina, a quiet, dignified lady of 5.5 years. I may not be the first one to run up and greet you, but I am the one who’ll be watching—gracefully perched in my favorite spot, taking in everything with thoughtful eyes.

I prefer the calm life. Loud noises? No thanks. Too much hustle and bustle? I’ll pass. I’d much rather spend my days lounging peacefully, observing the world go by, and deciding (on my own terms, of course) when I’d like a little affection.

I’d thrive in a tranquil home with respectful older children who understand a cat like me needs a bit of personal space. Once I trust you, I’ll reward you with quiet companionship and an unspoken bond that runs deep.

If you believe that love doesn’t always need to be loud to be real, I think we’d get along just fine. 💗
