Back from vacay in FL. Stella & Holly are experienced travelers now, staying in hotels, going in elevators and riding in the truck - it was an exciting time for them! Too bad the FL weather didn't cooperate, sunshine was limited to say the least! Stopped in lovely Savannah GA on the way home, where they were enjoying their first snow in 7 years.

Our Story

Laura, who owns Birchview Dog Boarding with her husband Jody, is a lifelong animal lover and dog owner.

“From as long as I can remember I have been passionate about working with animals. I spent my career in the agricultural livestock sector, after gaining a number of degrees in animal science and behavior. During this time I worked with all kinds of animals in a number of different countries.”

A few years ago we purchased a rural property just outside Scotland with the intention of pursing my dream to work with dogs and build my own pet care business. And Birchview Dog Boarding became a reality! This is also where we live with our own two rescue dogs, Holly & Stella.

Our mission at Birchview Dog Boarding is to provide quality, personal care for your dog at a reasonable cost. And of course lots of “paw-some” doggie fun as well!
