We are very sad to report that a deceased female cat has been brought into our clinic. She was found on the road on Dalhousie Street last night. Unfortunately she does not have a microchip. She is a black and white adult female on the heavier side. If you think this may be your kitty, please contact us at the clinic at 519-759-3031.

Nutrients like Omega 3 fatty acids, zinc, B vitamins, and proteins are essential to any pet’s diet. While proper nutrition can support skin health, it may not be a sole solution for all skin issues. If your pet is experiencing persistent or severe skin problems, it’s best to consult with a veterinarian. We can help identify the underlying cause and recommend appropriate treatment options, which may include dietary adjustments along with other interventions.
Book an appointment with us, and we can help determine the best diet, treats and nutritional plan for your pet. Call us at 519-759-3031.

Older pets often experience changes in digestion and metabolism. Adjusting the intake of fiber can help regulate bowel movements, prevent constipation, and promote digestive health. Fiber-rich ingredients like beet pulp or psyllium husk may be included in senior pet diets to support gastrointestinal function. For expert advice and direction on the best diet plan for your senior pet, book an appointment with our team! Contact us at 519-759-3031

Happy World Smile Day from Forrest and all your friends at Park Road!

World Smile Day is celebrated on the first Friday of October every year. It was initiated by Harvey Ball, the artist who created the iconic smiley face symbol. The purpose of World Smile Day is to encourage acts of kindness and to spread happiness by simply sharing smiles. It’s a day to remind people of the importance of positivity and kindness in our interactions with others.

On World Smile Day, people are encouraged to do something kind and make someone else smile. This could be through small gestures like giving compliments, helping others, sharing jokes, or engaging in random acts of kindness.

Happy Veterinary Receptionist Appreciation Day!
Today we honour our amazing Front Desk Team. They are the first and last point of contact at the clinic and the familiar voice that answers when you call. They laugh with you, they cry with you and they do their best everyday to ensure that you and your pet are looked after. We could not do what we do everyday if it wasn't for these amazing people. Please join us in giving a shout-out, kind word or thank you to our wonderful Front Desk Team - Janice, Sandy, Kathy, Cora and Trish!
