Training Tip Tuesday 🤓
Yes, you should pick your dog’s friends! You should match your dog to friends by temperament and play style. Is your dog a rugby player, a pace car, a wall flower or a poet? Knowing this helps you to recognize appropriate individuals to socialize with.
It is an unrealistic expectation that all dogs should be friends. They should be able to pass one another with grace and dignity, but no, they don’t have to befriend every other dog. Stick to social engagements that are healthy for everyone involved🥰
Fun Fact Friday🤓

Training Tip Tuesday 🤓
How do you find a dog training facility that is the best fit for you?
1/ Go watch a class in session - do you feel comfortable with the methods being presented? Is the space clean? (Puppy classes should only be held in freshly disinfected spaces).
2/ Do the trainers seem knowledgeable, kind and respectful of with both the dogs and the humans? Are the trainers certified with an internationally recognized governing body such as the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers?
3/ Ask for referrals from your veterinarian or friends with dogs who have attended programs they have enjoyed.
