Well yes and no! It has be proven that bells can be effective to save birds and small prey. However, some cats (the really cleaver ones) can learn to stalk without jingling the bell!
Another bell can be added and research shows this to be effective.

You could save birds lives by outfitting your cat in a Bird Safe Cat Collar! Birds have really great vision for bright colours and when they wear the bird Safe collar they are able to see the bright colours from the collar and fly away to safety sooner

i've had this wonderful cover for only a week but the effects are strong. most birds hanging out in the backyard fly out in minutes after she steps out, and the rest leave when she gets closer to them. my girl looks adorable on this, we've started affectionally calling her our little clown. she's grumpy in the picture cus i just woke her up.. anyway 5/5, will be buying more!
