We breed Sport New Forest Ponies and crosses for both family and competetive use for children and adults. We host the NASPR Inspections yearly and help to organize the Stars of the West Sportpony In Hand Suitability Show series in Western Canada. We are also involved in the growth of the New Forest Pony breed through the New Forest Pony Societly of North America.

Today we honor the Mothers.

You may or may not have noticed but at Pferde Traum Farm we value the influence the mothers have in our breeding program. The Dam side is ALWAYS listed when posting our foals!!!. We pride ourselves in having fabulous mares and excellent mothers 🥰 and my stallions would certainly agree !!

I also like to honor the human mothers at the barn!!! Without them we would have no community here.
And last but not least our farm animal mothers. 🥰🥰

My Daughter, Lina, is now officially a New Forest Pony breeder 💜
She welcomed this beautiful pure bred C**t into the world today.
Out of Pferdetraum Lina’s Lily and By Halestorm Branson Pickle.
Lina bought this mare by doing bake sales and farm work and maybe some calf money. Rode her in Pony Club doing jumping, dressage but mostly PPG (mounted games) and they have also enjoyed chasing cows and polocrosse.
Now Lina and Lily have a new project 🩷💗

Welcome to the world little man!
PTF Rockin’ Robyn is doing well. Had him in the snow but that was the plan. Found him up and sucking and dry (only a few icicles) at 4:30 am. Got him inside for a warm up. Strong little buggar!!! And oops , he will be section x. No skimping on the chrome for this guy!!!! Simply gorgeous 🥰
I’ll have to bring a cigar , he has a son 💙

I love getting pony updates!
Here is PT Iron Man (aka Tony Pony) getting his first ride with his Cowboy Nolan.

We had a great time at the Emily Taylor Memorial Fun show. Emily holds a special place in our hearts and at one point owned Pferdetraum Lina's Lily. We brought Lily to the show in honour of Emily and Lina was excited to ride her in the 2' class. Lily did Emily proud ❤ The money raised goes to CASA house to help other children dealing with Mental illness. Its an wonderful cause. Thanks to the organizers and Affinity Stables for hosting. Crispin II (aka Copper) had a lovely first ride down the road with Lina today. Such a love way to start a young pony. After 4 or so arena rides go out for a jaunt. Copper has the wider blaze and Pferdetraum Lina's Lily was along to show him the ropes. Nice to have my kids taking over the pony breaking business :) #ptfponies , #newforestponiesrock
