Bushes are multi-purpose π€
Foaling season is over and it went very smooth <3 It's the best feeling when they all can go out on grass now, to eat and grow and play and learn to be little well-behaved horses. (If only there wasn't that bloody burdock around π€¬)
Look at lil Askem, he's taking his job training very serious! π Thank you Loree, so much fun to follow your youngsters' progress! π€
It's a bit of a lengthy video but some of my favorite views that time of the year (less the smoke), when the studs come home and the mares and foals go to their fall pasture for the next couple of months, until weaning time π€
This is "Askem" (2020 brown roan colt CW Badger Me Hancock), first generation offspring from Blue (RS Tarvers Blue Rush) under saddle now, just a couple rides and doing fantastic! π€ (Kudos to his owner Loree for letting him grow into a horse for 3 years before backing him π)
It's exciting to see all these Blue babies grow up into riding horses now! π
Just minutes before the storm on a very hot day... thanks to lots of bushes to keep the horseflies brushed off πͺ°
Nom nom nom... π€©
Cash's filly lost sight of momma and is calling her. The mares are pretty relaxed with them little ones. Blue is an excellent babysitter as well, all of them are just giving perfect herd vibes.
Snowed all day and a good part of the night yesterday... today the world was an amazing winter wonderland again! Just like in any kindergarden around the world, outside playtime is the favorite time of the day!
Woohoo, this is exciting, that's one of the first fillies from Blue under saddle now, and doing so well! π§‘
Video taken at the trainer's place (Jaquelene See Horsemanship & Poplar Ridge Ranch), by her owner Areal Lutsch of School House Ranch.
2020 (sooty) buckskin roan filly CW Athenas Blue Girl (RS Tarvers Blue Rush x Maromacs Prima Athena)
Everybody's happy to have a few days break from the heat π
Not sure why I cannot add 2 videos to 1 post, also not sure why the tags are not working (I will add them to the comments) but here is the second one:
This is "Smoke" (the one without rider, Poco Easter Lena x Lynx Two Hancock), a 2017 colt we bred and raised. Shown with his current owner/trainer Tim at Rafter G Ranch Horses β€
If you want a well-rounded, safe and level-headed horse, do not hesitate to get in touch with Tim Goertzen. He had a few of ours now, for starting and for ongoing training, and he does an amazing job of turning them into reliable, safe, quiet equine partners!

Woohoo! This is what a head horse should look like π€
"CW Hancocks Flame" at Cowboy Up Ranch, just starting to learn the ropes of roping, and doing a pretty good job!
Picture credit goes to the owners Monika Wyssen and Curtis Zimmerlee, who's heading on Flame in the video.
Summertime! A lot of nomnomnom and swishswish going on. Hard to tell before first foal shed, but all these babies are roans.
