Captain Crosskill Suites is always undergoing some type of repair being approximately 210 years old. Here you see a plaster ceiling being expertly repaired with plaster washers bought in Ma. ( none available here at present). Doing this type of repair to plaster in lieu of replacing with gyproc creates a surface which is able to move with the building unlike gyproc. Old buildings were pegged together and the use of nails was extremely limited.

The portrait is of Gus Belliveau who resided at the Crosskill House apartments for many years. Captain John Crosskill founded the town and we are quickly approaching the 200th anniversary of Bridgetown. Are there plans in the works?
