Right now we have two kitties staying with us, which means opening up my second spare room and transforming it into a cat room. This is where Penelope (pig) sleeps, and she’s loving every second of having a new friend in her room! Hazel is very friendly and loves other animals so I knew they would hit it off! ☺️💗

A couple changes/reminders starting Monday, October 9th!🐈‍⬛🍂

• Nightly rate will increase to $22 per night

• New rate for cats with medical conditions will increase to $25 per night

• Drop off/pick up times during the week are from 4pm-6pm. On weekends it’s 8am-11am (weekends can sometimes be flexible, just let me know beforehand)

• All cats must arrive in carriers

• Clear instructions for food/medication. Vet info. A number that you can be contacted easily.

We have a new family member, Penelope the pot belly piggy! For the comfort of your cats, it’s important that you come within the drop off hours so I can make sure she’s outside when you arrive! (She loves cats but I always want to make sure to give your cats a stress free environment when arriving)

On Monday morning I noticed milkshake trying to p*e in odd places like dog/cat beds and the tub which is very weird for him to do but nothing was coming out.

My mind went right to “milkshake has a blockage” which can go downhill very, very fast. I called our vet and we took him in right away. After I got home from dropping him off we noticed he did p*e in the tub but it was just blood.

He ended up staying at the vet for almost 2 days and 1 night. Thankfully he didn’t have a blockage but has crystals and a bad urinary Infection. We still have to watch for a blockage.

It’s so important to keep a close eye on things like that, especially in male cats!

We’re logging off for a few days to finally leave for a vacation we’ve waited months for! Milkshake is in good hands while we are away☺️
