Oct 26/27 – Oxford Dog Sports – Country Rat Race

The ODS Country Rat Race pictures are now available.

Thank you so much for allowing me to capture all those noses sniffing out the very spoiled rats. I always love watching the dogs work, they are all so different. It also reminds me of our black lab, Sam, we had when I was a kid. He would have been amazing at this sport.

Hello everyone!

A long time, very good friend of mine was in a life threatening accident about a week ago and remains in critical condition. She is heavily involved in the equestrian and canine world for her whole life. She has worked at many barns, horse shows, kennels, dog shows, community pet events and more non-stop through her life. She has helped a ton of us whether she worked at the barn/kennel you board your animals with, whether it be for advice, whether it be at one of the many pet events or whether you were at a dog show. Now she needs our help.

Her three year old rottweiler Frankie is scheduled for TPLO surgery at the end of October. Frankie has been Alys support animal for three years now helping her with PTSD and anxiety. Unfortunately, Aly is in hospital fighting for here life right now. She cannot work to pay for Frankie's surgery being in the hospital. She was already working multiple jobs trying to pay for Frankie's physiotherapy, vet treatments and braces. Frankie completely tore her CCL tendon recently and desperately needs this surgery. Frankie's surgery as well as post surgical rehab are not covered by insurance.

Aly made this GoFundMe for Frankie before her life threatening accident. I am hoping that all of the equestrian and canine communities can come together and help Aly when she needs it most.
