✨We had a wonderful first show of the year at The Ottawa Dressage Festival! All three of our horses were total stars- Alissa and Dutch rode all three of the third level tests, a first for both of them and placed well in large classes! Kate and Sunny rode their first tests together as a team (and the first time out for Sunny in the show ring), they had so many lovely moments and gained a ton of confidence! Jen and Uno had two super first level tests with many highlights- a fabulous return to the show ring after a year away!
Congrats to the whole team- I’m so thankful for the support, the fabulous riding and the wonderful horses!✨

⭐️⭐️Alissa and Dutch rode some beautiful tests at our last show of the year yesterday at Westar Farms placing second🥈 and third🥉in Third Level Tests 1 and 2! This is only the second time competing at this level for both horse and rider and we were thrilled with the tests, the scores and the lovely comments from the judge about the quality and potential of this pair!🌟🌟🍁

✨✨With a fantastic summer coming to an end it’s time to focus on our fall program, all of my training stalls are currently full but there are still some available weekend dates for 1 or 2 day clinics~ both dressage or flat work to improve your over fences work.

✨✨Both my students and horses have been consistently successful at the Gold level from training up through the FEI Young Rider and Prix St.Georges level, including the reserve rider for the 2014 Ontario Young Riders Dressage Team, Dressage Canada award winners and CADORA Champions. In 2010, I was selected as the Competition Coach Specialist Demo Coach at the Equestrian Canada National Coaching Symposium and in 2013 and 2014 acted as the Sh Chef d’Equipe for the Canada East Team at the North American Junior Young Rider Championships in Lexington, Kentucky.

First show of 2023 is in the books! We had a great week at the Ottawa Dressage Festival, Alissa and Dutch made their debut at Third Level winning their first Open class of the show- a huge accomplishment for both of them since it was the first time at the level for both and they continued to ride super tests all weekend. Macy and Sunflower finished as JR Training Level Reserve Champions- amazing for their first dressage show!

Happy 21st Birthday Shaq🎉🎉!!For the last 18 years we have grown up together, travelled together and learned a lot about dressage😂
Nine years ago I decided to share him with Meg, when we thought his showing career was over. They started at second level, continued to third and finished their last show at Fourth Level. Now in his semi-retirement he still loves to come out and teach what the movements and the connection should feel like- he is the most helpful Professor👏👏👑 and my favorite horse🥰🦄
