Apple Ridge Farm is a growing team of passionate dog people that want to add exceptional individuals to our team. Our mission is to provide the best possible experience for our customers and their dogs with a focus on fun and safety.
Full-time dog daycare and boarding attendants we have indoor and outdoor play areas for the pups to enjoy! We are open 7 days a week 365 days a year including holidays. This is a physical job with lots of walking, kneeling, and bending!
We are looking for someone who has a passion for working with animals, is reliable, energetic, patient, has good customer service, and is hardworking.
Job duties include:
•Supervising dog play groups indoors and outdoors (all breeds, all sizes)
•Feeding and administering medication
•Cleaning (cleaning play areas indoors and out, picking up after dogs, cleaning dog suits, cleaning the kitchen, and maintaining a clean space for the pups and staff)
•Monitor pets for any signs of illness or distress
•Provide basic grooming such as brushing, bathing, and nail clipping.
•Answering phones, emails, and booking appointments
•Take photos and videos for social media
•Checking dogs in and out
•Complete pet psychology and pack management courses along with a pet first aid course.
•Other tasks as needed/assigned by management.
Candidates must:
•be flexible to accommodate varying shifts
•have reliable transportation
•be able to work weekends and holidays
•be able to work well in a group and on their own
•be comfortable with all breeds and sizes
