Where did your business name come from❓️

🐾 Little Step Pets came from my last name.

🐾 Petipas is a French last name derived from Petit Pas. In Canada, its origins are Acadian.

🐾 When translated into English, "petit pas" means small/little step.

🐾 While I am not French speaking, the ancestral meaning of my last name has proven to be a helpful guide in all things business, animals, and life.

🕯Bryce, Nova, and I have broken hearts today as we said our last goodbye to Miller.

🕯Miller came to us as an 8 year old from Grand River All Breed Rescue about a month after our Rory girl passed away in 2020. We had little information about his history except that he had chronic bladder incontinence. Unfortunately, Miller was diagnosed with kidney failure this past summer, so we knew our time was limited. We are honoured and privileged to have shared countless happy memories with Miller in his golden years, and we thank his veterinary team for their care.

🕯Goodbye, my love. My baby boy. My bouncing bunny. My shadow. Rest easy in sky world with Rory. I will always look for you one step behind me.🐾
