**IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM CHRIS DELIA STABLES**

We’re aware of recent speculation circulating online regarding the health of a horse stabled at our facility, following a video shared by one of our clients. We’d like to take a moment to clarify the situation and provide reassurance to our community.

The horse in the video, Margarita, sustained a minor bump to her chin — likely from contact with a paddock fence — which resulted in temporary swelling (a simple “goose egg”). While the video was shared with innocent intent, some viewers mistakenly assumed the swelling was symptomatic of strangles, a contagious equine illness. This has led to completely unfounded rumors that our barn is experiencing an outbreak.

To be absolutely clear: Chris Delia Stables does not have any cases of strangles or any other infectious diseases. All horses in our care are healthy, and we remain diligent in our daily health monitoring and biosecurity protocols.

We take the well-being of our horses and the broader equestrian community very seriously. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly.

Congrats to 10 year old Alyssa Jin and her adorable pony Morton’s Catwalk, with a strong 4th place finish in the prestigious Medium Pony Hunter Stake class at the Royal Winter Fair. It was Alyssa’s first time at the Royal and she came in pretty wide-eyed and nervous. I was super proud of her for her determination, mature mental control beyond her years, and ability to make improvements with each class - culminating in a very rewarding and admirable result. This was an amazing learning experience for her and I look forward to seeing what successes come to these two in 2025! 🏆🌟🎊

Congrats to Maggie Armstrong and Falstaff, winners of the OHJA Jumper medal and 3rd in the Canadian Open Jumper Medal at the Greenhawk Outdoor Finale. 🏆🥇🥉

What a great way to wrap up a successful show for 13 year old Aerin Mulhern and her adorable gelding Vittus HH (aka Vinnie), taking home 6th place in the Ontario Jump Canada Medal regional championship, qualifying them for the National Final at the Royal Winfer Fair in November. Way to go kiddo! 👊👊

So proud of young Aerin Mulhern and Vittus HH, taking home 6th overall in the Ontario CET Regional Finals. These two laid down a phenomenal performance in their 1st round, placing 3rd the gymnastic phase with a very respectable score of 84%. A few minor mistakes in round 2 resulted in an 8th place finish, but their overall score across the two rounds was still good enough to qualify them for the final ride-off. After a respectable round, but with a few green mistakes, they ended up finishing in 6th place overall.

I was so proud that this 13-year-old kid who just started the equitations only a few weeks ago, managed to pull off multiple good performances in one of the most difficult equitation tests we have in Ontario. The pressure was real… and the youngest kid in the class rose to the occasion, putting pressure on much older kids that have been doing it for way longer.

Anyhow, Aerin is now getting ready for the Ontario Jump Canada equitation regional final tomorrow for another kick at the can. Wish us luck! 👊👊

Big congrats to Maggie Armstrong and her amazing four-legged partner Fallstaff, taking home 3rd place overall in the Ontario CET regional finals. After a bit of a setback in round one, they bounced back to win round 2 with an impressive score of 89%. They qualified for the ride off and ended up 3rd overall. It was an amazing comeback performance and very fun to witness as her coach.

These two are late comers to the big equitation ring this year and have really pulled off an impressive sequence of performances this week, to achieve a top result when it counted the most in Canada’s most prestigious equitation class. I’m super excited to walk along side these two in their journey towards excellence.… so much potential!

Next stop - the CET national finals at the Royal Winter Fair in November. Wish us luck… I can’t wait for us to meet the challenges ahead. 🏅🏆🎉

It was one heck of a good day for 10 yr old Alyssa Jin and her adorable young medium pony Morton’s Catwalk, taking home 2nd place in the $2,500 Hunter Pony Classic at the Major League CSI 5* show at Angelstone today. Not too shabby for a couple of young newbies!! Big congrats Alyssa! You two deserved it 🥳🥈🏆

Congrats to Danielle Bremermann winning the Grand Prix Amateur Medal today aboard her special young gelding Frisbee GS at the System Equine Summer Cup! Stunning ride you two! 🥇🏆🤩
