Grangewood is looking for a part-time staff member.
Very flexible with how many/which days of the week worked, looking for 1-2 full days, 3-4 mornings, or some combination of.
Located in Caledon, at Creditview Rd and The Grange Sdrd. (20 min south of Orangeville, 15 min east of Erin, 20 min north of Brampton)

Typical barn duties; feed, turnout, muck stalls, light barn chores (tidy, cobweb, etc) turn-in and feed.
We have a quiet barn with a few laid-back boarders, easy, well-behaved horses. ~12 horses. Easy muck with tractor and dump trailer, small squares in the barn, functional working equipment!
Candidate must be mature, responsible and reliable. You will be covering the full-time manager's time off, and working on your own. So showing up for work, and being able to work independently is a must.
Horse experience is a must.

Grangewood is looking for a part-time staff member, for only one day per week on a regular basis, with the ability to work an extra day here and there (scheduled well in advance)
Located in Caledon, at Creditview Rd and The Grange Sdrd.
7:30-4:30 (slightly flexible) with an hour for lunch
Which day of the week is very flexible.

Looking to hire for part-time/casual hours.
Ideal candidate is someone that is just looking for a few extra hours/1 day per week in general. If you have the flexibility to work a few extra shifts when needed, even better!
Position includes general barn duties; turn in/out, feeding, mucking/bedding/sweeping etc.
Applicant must have horse experience, transportation, and be reliable and mature enough to work without supervision.
Very low-key environment, great friendly boarders, maximum 14 horses, often less.
Generally I am in need of someone to do 1 or two mornings per week, approx. 4 hours, or sometimes cover 1 full day per week (8 hours)
Throughout the winter months, will have at least one full day shift per week, to cover day off.
We are located in Caledon, near Olde Base Line and Highway 10.

Large Pony Alert! This Wonderful young fella is now available for your consideration!
Orville is actually a QH type, but he sticks JUST in at 14.2!
He is 7 years old.
Orville LOVES to hack, LOVES to jump! He is a forward mover, he likes to go. However, he has excellent brakes, he will come down from a gallop across a field to a stop, riding in a snaffle.
He is EXTREMELY trustworthy. NO buck, bolt, rear. He can still be "looky", and if he spooks its a small startle, no big movements.
He is going W/T/C and started over jumps. He is extremely clever with his feet and his stride. No doubt he will have auto changes when the time comes.
Orville is still green, he needs finishing in whichever discipline you choose. I absolutely feel confident that he can go into a program with a confident, somewhat capable young rider. Again, I absolutely don't worry about his honesty and safety, he just needs finishing.

He has been hacking up and down the road, hours on the Bruce Trail meeting hikers, snowmobiles, dogs. He had great solid feet, currently barefoot with no issues on the road. Great in a herd, currently stabled at night, but could live out no problem.
In your POCKET! He LOVES his snuggles. Stands for grooming, and stands to be vacuumed with the ShopVac. 😆
Will pretty much go wherever you ask him to. Walks over tarps, bridges, etc.
Excellent groundwork and manners.

I have no riding videos yet, only because we've been Spring busy and I haven't been able to co-ordinate. Video to come soon, or please, come see him! Covid protocols in place.

Part Time Work Available
Looking for someone approximately 15 hours per week.
Mainly w**d whacking and lawn mowing.
Prefer some experience with both(riding mower)
Prefer someone who is willing to do a few other assorted tasks as the need arises (maybe help fix a fence rail two, pick a paddock, etc)
Must be able to work independently.

Approximately 10 hours per week, potential for more in summer.
Basic help with property maintenance, w**d whacking and lawn-mowing (zero-turn ride on mower)
Some other additional duties may include some pond and garden maintenance, picking paddocks of manure and rocks, and other type duties.
Must be capable of running w**d whacker, and riding mower(can be taught)
Must be reliable and able to work independently.
Hours/days are fairly flexible.

We sent the little cutie-bug Oscar off to his new home last week! He was an absolute pleasure to work with over the winter, he's such a cool guy. We're sure he's going to rock his new job, learning how to be a safe lesson pony and maybe get to strut his stuff in the show ring! The kids are gonna love him.
This was the first EZ Trails Training and Grangewood collaboration..... I think it was a success! Can't wait to turn out more solid citizens into the horsey world!
