Handsome Beau was in for a CT scan and a cryptorchid neuter! 🐾❤️

A cryptorchid is a pet with one or both testicles that haven’t descended into the sc***um. When a testicle is retained in the abdomen, we use a minimally invasive laparoscopic approach for a smoother recovery. 🥰

Did you know your dog could help save lives? 🩸🐾 The Canadian Animal Blood Bank (CABB - ) is on a mission to support sick and injured dogs across Canada, and we’re proud to be part of this initiative! Each donation can save up to three lives, providing vital blood products for dogs in need.

Here’s how your dog can make a difference:

🐕 Donor Requirements: Healthy dogs between 1-8 years old, at least 55 lbs, with an easygoing temperament. They can donate every 3 months, no sedation needed, and it only takes 5 minutes!

🏅 Perks: Donor dogs receive complimentary blood products (should they ever need them) for each unit of blood donated, free microchipping, bandanas, milestone tags for every 5 donations, and more.

🩸 Blood Types: Like humans, dogs have blood types too. We’re especially seeking dogs with DEA 1 Negative blood (common in breeds like Greyhounds, German Shepherds, and Dobermans) as this universal type is often in short supply.

By joining us in this cause, you’re not only helping other dogs but joining a lifesaving community.

Make a difference and visit us on Saturday, April 26th, from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm to donate. Give us a call at (519) 927-5775 to chat with RVT Kiara and learn how your dog can become a hero! ❤️🐶

The good news? Prevention is simple and effective! Keeping your pet protected is the best way to stay ahead this season.

Helping Pets is our Lifelong Passion

“I established Caledon Mountain Veterinary Hospital in March of 2002 because I wanted to create a unique place that provides progressive veterinary care, but in an environment that felt comfortable and familiar, like a home. The veterinarians, assistants, technicians and client care team really bring the practice to life with their unwavering passion, expertise, and enjoyment for what they do. We are committed to helping our patients achieve the best life possible—every pet is special to us, and deserves our full attention.

I have always had a passion for orthopedics, and over the years have dedicated myself entirely to continuously advancing my skills to learn new ways to improve the quality of life of each pet in my care. My entire team’s dedication to learning new skills and striving for constant improvement can be attributed to our desire to be leaders of innovation and care in veterinary medicine. I want to continue caring for pets for many more years to come, and to always welcome new patients from our own community as well as from Orangeville, Bolton, Brampton and surrounding regions.“
