We are looking for experienced pet groomers for full time work at our pet shop and grooming salon Inglewood Pet Food and Boutique!

At Inglewood Pet Food and Boutique, you would be joining a group of dedicated animal lovers who always put the wellbeing of our furry clients first. Our pet groomers have complete control over their hours, schedule, pricing, and clientele, and a receptionist/assistant on site during store hours to handle all your scheduling needs, and any other assistance you may require. We have a wide range of clientele for you to take on, or you may bring your own from past jobs. Majority of our clients are dogs, but we do receive some requests to do cats as well, so experience with both is preferred. The staff at Inglewood Pet Food and Boutique are happy to welcome any and all pet groomer candidates!

Our groom room provides you with ample space to safely store your grooming equipment, multiple groom tables, large dog bath with shampoo dispensers, and lots of space for your furry clients (XXL dog crates, gated backyard, and indoor dog training/play area). With a vet clinic just next door, we offer sedated grooms and veterinary assistance for consulting or for duties such as a**l glands, etc.

Need to upgrade your groom kit? Another perk of working with us includes shopping in our store at cost price! If you don't find what you need here, we can special order supplies from our distributors at a massively discounted price from the standard retail.

Job Requirements:
- Experience with grooming dogs and cats - all breeds and sizes
- Minimum 2 years of grooming/pet handling experience (or have completed grooming school)
- Main duties include all breed grooming, bathing, nails, and finishing (Cleaning during and at the end of the day of grooming area is required!)
- Interest in growing clientele and maintaining current clientele
- Works well in a fast paced environment and can handle the physical requirements of lifting heavy loads, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching and kneeling
- A positive attitude and teamwork mentality
- Able to work alongside others
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to build trust and loyalty with clients

This position is commission based on 60% (inclusive HST) for the groomer (50% (inclusive HST) during first 3 months of probation).

*Groomer must have own grooming insurance!*
