MacLeod Equine Veterinary is very excited to welcome Dr. Rodrigo Munevar-Luque to the team!

🎓 With a veterinary degree from La Salle University in Bogota, Colombia, since 2009, Dr. Rodrigo has been on an incredible journey in the world of equine care. He completed his internship at the Dubai Equine Hospital and then became an Associate Veterinarian working with endurance, polo, jumping, and thoroughbred race horses.

🌟 Over the past decade, Dr. Rodrigo has invested in continuous growth, he is 1 of only 3 veterinarians in Canada with certification from the International Society of Equine Locomotor Pathology. He also has certification for
veterinary acupuncture from Chi University in Florida and in 2020, he obtained his Master's in Equine Sciences at the University of Edinburgh

📚 Driven by an enduring passion for sports medicine, Dr. Rodrigo is embarking on a Ph.D. journey at the University of Guelph. His research focuses on equine osteoarthritis treatment with mesenchymal stem cells.

Kyla has brought this horse along from backing him to his first barrel pattern to now winning their division, there truly isn’t anyone quite as motivated, determined and committed as Kyla, it’s definitely paid off! Congrats Kyla!
