Our family-run farm has 2 core interests; we are producers of quality European Warmblood Spo

rt Horses and Japanese Wagyu cattle and genetics. Hanoverian Horses:
Our band of mares bring forward the best bloodlines in the Hunter, Jumper and Dressage ring, and were either imported themselves or by top stallions standing in Europe. All are from proven sport horse bloodlines, chosen for their performance abilities and superior conformation for sport. Wagyu Cattle:
In 2012, Shallow Brook Farms acquired it’s first two purebred Wagyu, with lines tracing back to the >>>. Shallow Brook Farms goal is to produce the best full-blood Wagyu, ensuring the best quality breeding stock that perform well in paddocks, feedlots, and on our tables. We do not believe in feeding our cattle growth stimulants, hormones or antibiotics. Our Japanese Wagyu cows trace to the Rikitani and Okutani damlines, bringing the top bloodlines for marbling and meat quality outside of Japan. In-utero offspring available for contract now, due May 2014. Our Philosophy:
Our goal is to have and show respect for our land, animals, family and consumers, by farming humanely and sustainably. In the process, we want to provide only the healthiest animals to you – our customers. Shallow Brook Farms’ commitment to environmental stewardship includes working with the CVC to help naturalize areas of our farm; providing wildlife habitat, protecting water quality and creating buffer zones. We are a family farm – this is a labour of love, and we, thank-you for your support!

Lucy 2022 Hanoverian filly by Light My Fire, out of our Avaia (Alabaster/Ehrentusch). She's currently 1m64 / just over 16H. Lovely mover, versatile pedigree and sweet easy character suitable for an amateur with support to develop. I'll post a link to her vids and album, but reach out for more info. This is a very nice young prospect to develop!

Well, it's not really cold but the footing is s**t. The one thing I do love about the snow is that I can see all the critter tracks. Deer of all sizes, turkey tracks, goose, racoon, rabbit and a lot of coyote trails.
