Please keep the Poinsettia plant out of reach for our pet plant chewers 🐾🐾
It is not toxic however still can cause stomach upset 🙀

Poinsettias are NOT the deadly flowers that popular legend has made them out to be.

This red beauty always makes a strong showing around the holidays. The sap of poinsettias can be irritating to the stomach leading to drooling 🤤, vomiting 🤮 and diarrhea 💩. Keeping this plant out of the reach of your pet to avoid stomach upset is still a good idea, but you need not banish the poinsettia from your home for fear of a fatal exposure.

If you're boarding your pets this holiday season, or visiting the groomers or dog parks, the bordetella vaccine is essential to prevent kennel cough. Please call us to confirm your pet's vaccinations are current. We'll discuss your pet's lifestyle and assess the risks to recommend the necessary vaccines. 🐾🐾
