Kayenna, a reputable pet grooming salon, is currently seeking an experienced dog groomer to join our team. We have available positions at our new location in Varsity Estates and our existing location at Horton Road. As a dog groomer at Kayenna, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality grooming services to our furry clients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, haircuts, nail trimming, and ear cleaning for various dog breeds.
- Ensure the comfort and safety of the dogs throughout the grooming process.
- Maintain a calm and stress-free environment for the dogs, utilizing gentle handling techniques.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide appropriate recommendations.
- Keep accurate records of grooming services provided and any specific instructions from pet owners.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area and equipment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a dog groomer, with a strong skill set in various grooming techniques.
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with confidence, gentleness, and patience.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of different dog breeds and their specific grooming requirements.
- Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality grooming results.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
