✨ Reflecting on an Amazing 2024 Season! ✨

As we wrap up another incredible year at K9 Fun Centre, I wanted to take a moment to thank each and every one of you who made this season so special. Whether you joined us for dock diving competitions, training sessions, or just some fun by the pool with your pups, your energy and enthusiasm are what keep this place thriving!

🏅 In 2024, we:

Hosted 7 exciting dock diving events!
Welcomed hundreds of amazing dogs and their dedicated owners.
Saw countless personal bests and memorable leaps!

To all our competitors and visitors – thank you for trusting us to be part of your dog’s journey. Seeing your pups grow in confidence, skill, and joy is what makes all the hard work worthwhile.

A special shoutout to my fantastic team, including Kassandra, Kirsty and Jo, for their dedication and help throughout the busy season. I couldn’t have done it without you!

As the season comes to a close, we already planning for 2025 and can’t wait to share what’s coming next. Stay tuned for updates, and don’t forget – the pool may be closed for now, but there’s always more fun ahead.

🎅 Santa Paws Came to Town!
Our incredible dogs got into the holiday spirit today with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus at Petco! From wagging tails to cheeky smiles (looking at you, Zuri! 😂), it was such a joyful and festive moment for everyone.

What an incredible weekend at NADD Nationals! 🎉

I’m beyond proud of our team’s achievements and the unforgettable memories we made!
🐾 Cosmopolitan took #1 in the Air Retrieve Elite Division with a remarkable 25 ft grab and earned the Air Retrieve Master title!
🐾 Maaya ranked #5 in Air Retrieve, #10 in HydroDash, and was awarded the H.AR.D. Charger Award in 5th place! (The H.AR.D. Charger Award is given to dogs competing in all three disciplines, ranking them for their exceptional performance across each event.) At 11 years old, this was Maaya’s retirement performance, and she gave it her all! 🥹❤️

It was also an honor to judge at the Nationals!

Already looking forward to next year and the memories we’ll make!

Beautiful Zuri came to us as a small 8 week old Greyhound x Lab/Kelpie cross with her 3 siblings from a kind farmer in northern Alberta who took them in after concerns that her neighbor wasn't taking proper care of them. We knew these girls would need a very special home who could keep up with their crazy puppy ways!

The owner and operator of K9 FUN Centre dog training and pool in Calgary reached out to us with hopes of adding another Dock Diving pup to her family! Man did Zuri and her mom hit the jackpot! Zuri is a beautiful, smart, busy and motivated girl and we knew she would thrive in an environment that embraced her driven personality!

We're so happy both Zuri and her mom found each other and love each other so much. Congratulations beautiful lady, you couldn't have found a better home

*** Dog Friends *** I have a wonderful friend who is looking for a home for her special girl. Blue is lots of fun and would love a home that is willing to work with her and give her a job. I would keep her but I already have to many 😜 Here is a short little description of this sweet girly!

I am seeking a new home for my 1-year-old Blue Heeler, who would thrive with an active individual or couple. She’s well-suited for either town life with a yard or an acreage, as long as she receives daily walks and plenty of attention. This intelligent herding dog is very loyal and affectionate, and she responds well to training and tricks.

However, she can be assertive and occasionally jealous of other dogs, so a home where she is the only dog might be best. She is crate trained and does not do well being left alone for extended periods, so ideally, her new owner will be home frequently or have a flexible schedule.

She is not yet spayed, as we are waiting until she turns 1, and I am looking for a responsible owner who will commit to spaying her and not breed her. She will make a devoted companion for someone ready to give her the love and attention she craves.

Please message me with any questions and I would be happy to put you in touch with her mom. Her human mom has a new born and wants her to go to a good home that can give her the attention she needs ♥️

Exciting day at K9 Fun Centre! 💦 We had 11 adorable 5-week-old puppies experiencing their very first water introduction today! 😍 It was pure joy watching these little ones take their first splash and explore the water. Can’t wait to see how they grow and become confident swimmers!
