Nico had a regular vet routine check up and we got to take him ourselves so we were given the opportunity to provide some training.

Although we used a muzzle for some extra safety precautions we were able to successfully remove the muzzle after some training. No we don’t have pictures of Nico being muzzle free as he had my full undivided attention during his training therefore my phone was put away. 🙃

Nico’s minor reactivity stems from fear which is a simple behaviour that’s easily misunderstood for aggression. It’s extremely important to understand the difference between fears and true aggressions.

Remember just because a pup has a muzzle on DOES NOT mean they’re aggressive! Take the time to understand a situation before making your own personal judgement call.

Does your pup require vet visits while they’re in boarding or do you simply need the extra support due to your busy life style?

Sometimes we could use the extra assistance but yet we don’t ask for it. We offer this form of support as we understand that sometimes life can get busy or we even experience some unexpected life situations.

The greatest part about this extra support is there’s NO HIDDEN FEES! We truly love what we do and are passionate about all pups. Everything we do regarding this is simply out of pure kindness and an understanding.

Duchess was taken into the vet for regular health conditions as her family was going through their own personal things in life so we made it easier for them by taking Duchess in for her check up.

Copper was unfortunately involved in a serious accident days before his scheduled boarding. With the proper communication and understanding we still took care of him as sometimes things happen in life and we can always adjust to the new change.

Daizy had high levels of reactivity and was also in heat during her time of boarding so we made a few arrangements in our regular lifestyle to adjust to her own personal needs.

Duke and Duchess are both on a very strict diet where their foods must be weighed out correctly for each of them and fed at specific times. Duke also requires special baths due to his health conditions.

Zuko frequently has seizures which comes with a high demand of care as he’s on medications that must be provided accordingly. Zuko also requires extremely special care as you need to know and understand when his seizure is about to take place. Within a certain time frame after Zuko’s seizure he gets a special bath to clean him up and help him with getting back to normal. Zuko also requires the most attention after a seizure as this unfortunately takes a lot of strength away from him so the recovery time is highly important as well.

Tank went through a TPLO surgery which unfortunately took him longer than average to recover due to his age and weight.

Maddie has common issues with all four paws where it requires medical attention at times. Days where they really bother her not only do they need to be cleaned up but they require to be bandaged so she can’t irritate it more. Her paw condition also requires certain outdoor exposures which cannot be exceeded too much and the environment is highly important due to chemicals in grass or even pavement.

Tyson had gone through a surgery which required multiple vet appointments with a few more minor surgery’s as well. His recovery plan was highly important and we ensured to meet those for his own personal comfort levels.

Nico required a vet check due to on going health issues and unfortunately due to an unforeseen circumstance his family had to handle this and life was busy. Sometimes life hits us with unexpected situations so I simply made the offer to book Nico’s vet appointment and get him checked out. This was a huge help to the family and sometimes it’s okay to ask for support!

There’s always an alternative to any challenge. It all comes down to the efforts you want to put into it yourself.

Bruno is reactive towards certain pups depending on the environment but he loves to be out and about especially with humans.

We switched up our dog walking session and he joined me at the dealership for some regular maintenance.

Not only did he get to meet lovely new people but we got to walk inside and outside the entire time. Perfect balance for cold temperatures!

DARLA IS BACK AND WITH HER SISTER SADIE!

Some of you know the story about Darla but for those who don’t this is her story. She was left in my care due to unforeseen circumstances so she joined my family.

My grandpa came by for a visit from out of town and he had bonded with Darla so naturally. The next day his wife calls me and says don’t ask questions but your grandpa is on his way back to town to bring Darla home.

That was that, Darla went on a beautiful car ride to her forever home and now about a year later she’s back with us for boarding.
