Mycelium is the underground part of fungi, like mushrooms, and it’s vital for soil health and plant growth.
Fun Facts about what mycelium does:
1. Recycles organic matter into rich soil.
2. Connects plants for nutrient sharing.
3. Used in sustainable packaging and leather.
4. Expands miles within days.
5. Breaks down pollutants.

These students’ visit was a great opportunity for them to learn how to better identify weeds, and turn soil for new growth!
