Celebrating 4 incredible years today! As we mark four years of Animal HealthLink, we're filled with gratitude for the trust and support of our amazing clients. You've been with us every step of the way, allowing us to reach remarkable milestones, like over 300,000 triages and answering thousands of calls this year alone.

We're looking forward to continuing to support veterinary professionals, patients, and animal caregivers in 2025 and beyond. Thank you so much for believing in our mission to enhance animal care through dedicated teletriage services.

While many were enjoying festive celebrations, the dedicated team at Animal HealthLink was hard at work this holiday season!

This Christmas, our amazing staff assisted a record number of patients—220 on Christmas Eve, 260 on Christmas Day, and 302 on Boxing Day. We know that pet health concerns don't take a holiday, which is why we were available to provide essential care and advice when it mattered most.

Thanks to our teletriage services, pet owners had access to immediate support during one of the busiest times of the year, ensuring their furry friends received the care they needed even when many facilities were closed or had long waiting periods. Meanwhile, our clients were able to get more time back during the holidays to spend with their loved ones.

We're very proud to support our clients and grateful to our team for their tireless efforts!

A huge thank you to our incredible friends, partners, clients, and staff who joined us for our 3rd Annual Bowling Mixer during CanWest! From creative costumes to striking down pins, it was such a joy to come together, connect, and share some laughs. As most of our team works from home, getting to visit with our community in person is always a highlight.

If you've been evacuated due to the Alberta wildfires and require veterinary care, Peace River Veterinary Services has set up a telehealth line sponsored by Veterinarians Without Borders that can be reached by calling 780-900-3966.

Callers will be connected to an experienced RVT operator who will do a triage assessment of the animal via phone, text, or video. Instructions will be given should the animal need emergency care or is stable and requires monitoring.

Please note, only those displaced by wildfires in Alberta are to use this hotline. Feel free to share this number with anyone you know who is affected and has animals in their care. We can help any species, including small animals, large animals, exotics and livestock.

Our hearts go out to all the people, animals, and communities who are affected by the wildfire situation in Alberta. We know this is an uncertain and scary time.

Thanks to the generous funding by Veterinarians without Borders, an emergency wildfire support triage line was established in partnership with Animal HealthLink and Peace River Veterinary Services LTD (Mosaic Veterinary Partners Group) in case any animals belonging to evacuees experience a medical concern or emergency. Please note, this line is to support those that have been displaced by Alberta wildfires only.

If you are an evacuee and you'd like to have access to this service, we ask that you email [email protected] to learn about the line.

Wishing the best to those affected and we know the communities will rally together to support and rebuild.
