It was a super successful show for the Evo Eq team at this weekend! Constance and Sunny had their best rounds of all time in the .75 taking home top ribbons. Remi and Calvin had multiple winning rounds and had great success moving up to .90. Cassidy and Ted had a successful first show in the 1.0 ending the weekend with a 🥇 in the jumper derby! I had an excellent time piloting Toshas lovely 4yo mare Venus around the maiden hunter, winning two out of 3 rounds in her first show ever. Thanks to everyone for pitching in to make a busy weekend run smoothly. And special thanks to Constance for surprising me with a lovely new banner. Big congrats to these ladies! Today was a day of many firsts! First show for Emma and Constance, first show for Remi/Calvin and Courtney/Buddy as a team and some first place ribbons! Constance knocked it out of the park today receiving champion in her division at her first show! 🙌🏻 Courtney and buddy got top ribbons in their first show together, Remi had some amazing rounds with her young gelding Calvin and Emma and Tiggy also got ribbons in their first outing! Way to go gals. Thanks to for putting on a fun and friendly show so close to home. And MUCH thanks to Teegan for all of your help holding, riding, tacking up and everything in between making this weekend a breeze!

*GLOW UP POST* When “BoJack” came to us () in September of 2021 he was an 8yo OTTB under weight and riddled with ulcers. We wanted to give him a second chance at a riding career so we took on the challenge and the makeover began. After his ulcer treatment and restart into riding we were lucky to rehome him within our barn family! There were some ups and downs throughout the training process leaving us with questions, that’s when we decided to find out his true identity. With a bit of research we found out that he is “Getrdonegotrdid” a 2007 model who had raced for a few years, then went on to be a chuck wagon horse for 5 years. Talk about a war horse! Considering this new info and the fact that he was almost double the age we originally thought, we put some more work into making him comfortable. I’m proud to say that he has become one hell of a horse! One of the most trainable and patient horses I’ve worked with and proving to have many years left in him! His mom, gives him the best care a horse could ask for and it truly shows. 🥰 🐎

When big beautiful Breeze first came to us she was riddled with ulcers and extremely underweight. Three months later with lots of groceries and TLC she is finally strong enough to start over fences!

Very happy with this pony’s progress! At 4 years old we just got him started under saddle this summer. He has a great work ethic. We’ve started him on lateral work, over fences and he offers the occasional lead change!

That’s a wrap! Very successful weekend for the horses and riders! Lauretta’s Gerrico stepped into the grass ring for the first time without blinking an eye to finish 2nd in the meter jumper derby! Cassidy had lots of new experiences showing in the grass ring and got a 5th place finish in the .9 derby as well as a first place in her jump off on Saturday! Her and Ted are a match made in heaven. Last but not least Lassard rocked it for his first show with us and his first time in the 1.0m. Winning his speed class on Saturday and 6th in the derby. Looking forward to doing it all again in august!! Oh not to forget!!! Thanks to everyone who helped out this weekend! It was a team effort!! and Marion .equestrian.centre

The first half of the Paramount horse show has been a success! Laurettas Gerrico made his 1.0m debut with all clear rounds! Cassidy and Ted got ribbons in both of their classes. They even won their Jump off round for Cassidy’s first time in the .9m Lassard also stepped up to the 1.0m winning his speed round in the grass!
