Meet our newest training pup 5.5 month old Lettie. This sweet girl was recently adopted by 2 amazing humans from the Calgary Humane society.
Lettie's story is quite heartbreaking as she was found tied to tree and left on her own, thankfully she was rescued and has now found her forever home.
We are helping her with leash skills, teaching her to be calm and neutral on walks, and crate training.
Day 1 this girl did great on the leash, plays an excellent game of tug and waits patiently at thresholds.
It's always heartbreaking to hear when dogs are neglected or abused, but thankfully there are wonderful organizations and people that do care, and this changes the lives and outcomes for these dogs.

If you are struggling with your dog or puppy, find a trainer and learn how to care for your dog, there are so many resources available, they don't ever deserve to be tried to a tree and abandoned.

Let's welcome Beef to the training family👏👏
This little guy rules the roost at his house and it's time for him to learn some manners around guests coming over, leash walking and his feelings about other dogs on leash.
I see it often with littles, their owners give too much love and not enough structure and leadership leaving them nervous and unprepared for the world.
Beef here has all the love he can handle, he now needs to build his confidence and together they can overcome his reactivity and create a calm and confident dog.

Our current training pups working on their leash skills, place command and being calm.
Teaching your dogs how to be neutral around other dogs and guests is an important skill that's oddly often overlooked in training. Traditional obedience is great but should be paired with teaching your dog how to exist in our world. Giving your dog the life skills it needs to be a part of your daily life plus obedience is a beautiful thing👏🐾

So I just saw a dog walker fit 12 dogs into her ford escape 🙄 not only is that incredibly unsafe, even if dogs all get along and you're the best handler of all time, if an accident happens the results would not be pleasant.
On another note I realize my van doesn't need to be upgraded to a larger version since I only take a max of 5 dogs 🤣🤣

Paws up to this little cutie. Ryder and his family just completed walk this way 4 🎉
Ryder came to me over stimulated, anxious and very difficult to walk on leash. His excitement turned into mania was very hard to control and made walks quite difficult and embarrassing.
Now his owners have the right tools and skills to shift his attention back to them making the world outside a bit easier for Ryder to navigate through👍

Tesla update! We are lucky to have Amanda Moore take this little guy for a his next leg of fostering. He has been so great to work with, and I’m really proud of how much he has learned in last couple weeks.
He went out with me everyday to attend pack walks, training sessions and so much more. As a result he walks great on leash, is very well socialized to be around people, busy streets, parks and other dogs ( he would love a playmate)
Unfortunately our home has a lot going on and his prey drive with the cats was a bit too much.
He is a very sweet puppy with lots of love to give and he thrives on his routine and structure. I’m hopeful he gets adopted soon as he would make an excellent dog to any family. He’s available through

Let’s give a paws up to Berkley for completing Walk This Way 2🎉🎉

Berkeley just got adopted through BARCS and he needed some help with leash walking and getting excited in the home when guests come over. This guy did great and now walks like a champ and has learned place so he can chill when company arrives.

Way to go Berkley!

Big up to Duke for completing Walk This Way 4.
Duke is leash reactive towards other dogs, and over 4 weeks he and his owners learned how to be calmer around those incoming dogs and the right techniques to make it a lot easier for them.
