CANTALOUPE Microgreens:
In addition to being flavorful, they contain magnesium, manganese, copper, potassium, iron, calcium, thiamine and riboflavin, zinc, and dietary fiber. Rich in beta carotene and lutein antioxidents. Along with vitamins A, B3, C, E, and K.

Get most of your daily nutrient values with a couple of handfuls of microgreens. Smaller than a serving of vegetables!!!

Microgreen highlight!

Flaxseed microgreens!

They contain vitamins A, B, C, and E, calcium, iron, and antioxidants. You can almost tick off every nutrition in your health calendar!
Flax seeds are a nutritional powerhouse. Lignans are a form of phytoestrogen, which is a natural plant nutrient similar to estrogen, the female hormone. In fact, flaxseeds contain 75–800 times more lignans than other plant foods.

As lignans have powerful antioxidant properties, some studies show that flaxseeds may protect against some forms of cancer, including breast cancer, colon cancer, and prostate cancer. The lignans play a role in blocking the spread of tumor cells.

Got new seeds and are testing now.

Cilantro microgreens (ready for Oct 9th orders) Cilantro microgreens contain very high levels of the carotenoids lutein/ zeaxanthin, violaxanthin and beta carotene, which are fat soluble antioxidants important for organ function and protecting cellular structures from damage. Cilantro microgreens contain 3 times more beta carotene than the mature leaves.

Swiss chard microgreens (ready Oct 16th orders) They have very high amounts of vitamins A, C, and K and many essential mineral ingredients such as potassium, magnesium, or iron.

Fingers crossed I don't screw them up haha!!

Are you having a smoothie once a day? I'm definitely trying!

It's so easy adding "pure" vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants with microgreens. While not adding more calories, sugars, and / or nasty preservatives or chemicals!

Todays:
Soaked chia and flax seeds (my fiber for the day) 2 tbs of each. Approx 4 gram protein

3 tbs H**p seeds ( 10 grams protein)

Collagen protein 3 scoops ( 13 grams protein)

Bunch of Melon microgreens, pea microgreens, and broccoli microgreens

1 cup of mixed frozen berries

= approx 30 grams of protein and a "full of pure" healthy goodness my body needs to function!

All looking great so far for my return to planting after some time off over the summer.

Wow, getting back into the routine is a challenge, haha! Even the "kids" first morning to school went smooth! 🤯!!! Winning!!!

And seriously contemplating taking a break from it for the summer. We have holidays that are booked (out of town) and coordinating planting along with harvesting is not falling into a time-line that works with those holidays...
