Great walks and visits with some of the pups this week!

July was BUSY!! Due to the hot temps and poor air quality, quite a few walks were cut short for the pups’ well being. Most did not complain and were happy to head back inside! 🥵 This month, Allie spent her first weekend with us! With management and as much exercise as the weather allowed, all the pups did great! It is definitely a challenge having dog selective pups but not every dog is a social butterfly and that is OK! Also making sure our old boy Zeus is not miserable with ‘strange’ dogs in the house is important. Boarding dogs can be stressful not only on the dog coming into the home but for the existing dogs (and for the dog sitter! 😬), but structure and exercise makes things go smoothly! I’m excited to offer dog sitting services to my clients on a case by case basis.

Well.. looks like another crazy hot week PLUS now we have air quality issues. **please note, walks Tuesday and Wednesday will be kept short to keep everyone safe and healthy**

When you have a Malinois in your pack sometimes you gotta do a little extra 😬. Sadie and I enjoyed a very short fetch session (due to the warm temps) this week after our pack walk. It was too hot for the little dogs so we cut the walk short but she needed to burn off a little more energy before going home. She was a happy girl!

Yesterday was a 💩 show… lost my keys during the second walk of the day. After dropping off the dogs living in the area, Sadie and I went back to look. Nothing.. Thankfully I live close to where I lost them so Sadie and I walked to my house to pick up the spare set. After cooling off and rehydrating, we walked back to the truck and Sadie went home. I did go back to look again but could not find them. Shoutout to for being such a trooper despite the heat (I swear she was trying to help me look for them 😂) and a huge shoutout to ‘s hoomans for going back out there in the evening to look for them. I honestly can’t believe I did that and on such a crazy hot day 🤦🏽‍♀️. Also anyone in the Aspen Woods area find a set of truck/house keys they’re mine 🙋🏻‍♀️

Enlisted my daughter’s help to do a proper introduction between Zola and Sadie. It went so well! We will take it slow with these 2 to ensure they become good friends in the future (or at least ignore each other lol)

Welcome Lucy! This young lady will be working on some loose leash and engagement until she goes to Bird Dog Camp later this summer. 🦆🦆🦆 She’s very smart and extremely sweet! Looking forward to working with her 😃

After a week away in Mexico, we jumped right back into snowy, rainy, sunny walks this week 🤨. Was good to get back into it but my brain is still at the beach.. I forgot to take pics of Coco and Ozzie.. oops!
